MORAL PANIC HAS BITTER FLAVOUR-------EAMONN SWEENEY IN TODAYS IRISH INDEPENDENT
Did you read that article Liam. Wrote by E S IN THE INDO.
I THINK ITS WRONG TO DESCRIBE IT AS 'mDUBLIN MEDIA'm as some of the people penning the article are from all over Ireland eg. J MC Guinness writes in the Irish times as does D o Shea some of them see the big picture though but to me an element in the south see nothing good about Tyrone or indeed Ulster teams especially if successful.
Donegal got it from the press in 2011 and indeed 2012 just before they won the All Ireland. What was wrote about Donegal after 2011 by journalists from papers published in Dublin / Cork left me very bitter as it did to a lot of Donegal folk. IMO the same abuse is being directed today at Tyrone EamonnSweeney is right ----TYRONE HAVE NEVER BEEN FORGIVEN FOR THEIR SUCCESS ----WINNING 3ALL IRELANDS.
I HAVE SEEN AT FIRST HAND HERE HOWA LOT OF PEOPLE OUTSIDE ULSTER VIEW OUR CHAMPIONSHIP
IN PUBS HERE IN LONDON I SAW PEOPLE TURN THEIR BACK ON THE TV WHEN AN ULSTER GAME IS ON , they won't watch it TOUGH LUCK I SAY.
HOW COMES ALL THESE FLARE UPS IN THE PAPERS /tv's always concern Ulster teams. How come all the time and analysing is devoted to Ulster teams when they do something wrong???
Dublin ,Cork , Mayo, Kerry, meat horn the hurling counties Kilkenny, tipp, Galway etc never get the same treatment
Again Liam answering you question there are people writing in the Dublin/ southern media who have a certain amount of sympathy for Tyrone , but an awful lot probably hate the site of them

I never blacklisted anybody Liam so I don't know why you say that, and didn't I say in another post, with reference to you, that to use the "Dublin media" term was probably a bit unfair.
