Jaysus Thomas, I had completely forgotten about that thing on the John Murray show. I actually was on a bus going through the stations that morning when I came across it, disgusting stuff altogether. No wonder Mickey wouldn't give them the time of day, I had just dismissed it as something silly like what Armagh were doing last year.

How was it he kept his job when you remember what happened to Russell Brand and the other fella on BBC radio a few years back. It was such an awful and pointless show in general anyway, I'm glad its finally been taken off the air.

Sometimes with Mickey I think some people today are just uncomfortable that someone publicly professes such a strong sense of faith.

It doesn't fit in with the 'modern', totally secular society some people want to shove down all our throats.

I might have issues with how his teams plays sometimes, but he is a great man and one of the GAA's greatest managers.

I am looking forward to this match. Even though I root for Kerry Tyrone has and has had a fine team. I remember the likes of Dooher, Devine, and Cavanagh. Kerry v Tyrone in the League was a very good match. I expect they both will play to their utmost and it will be a high quality event.

I can't see past a Tyrone win next Sunday.
They have all the motivation they need with it being the champs that they are playing and they're hatred of the Dublin media, and of course the tiernan McCann debacle which isn't doing our preperations any good down here in Kerry.
Iv seen too many bad times against Tyrone to write them off and I know Eamon and our senior footballers won't write them off either. But it's gotta be a Tyrone win without a doubt.

KingdomBoy1, I've come out of a 4 year HoganStand retirement to reply to your last comment. You aren't really tipping a Tyrone win, you're covering your ground so in the event that they do win, you can say that you called it. Tyrone have more of a chance than people are saying they do, but your comment lacks backbone! You surely can't call yourself a KingdomBoy after that. Ciarraí abú

Well I'll call it as I see it.
Kerry - stonger midfield
Kerry - more options up front
Defensively - about even.
Tactically we can play it anyway Tyrone want.
If they want to sit, we can sit too.
If they want a shoot out then we can do that to.
Physically we can match the best of them.
For me I'd be surprised if we did not prevail.

Have tyrone beaten kerry in the league since 2008? I know this years result as 2013 in omagh, and ovbviously 2012 in killarney is recent history. Tyrone were in division 2 of the league in 2011, so the last meeting must have been in 2010 in the league. In which case, was it 2008 since Tyrone beat kerry?

We are in serious ambush teritory now. We're allireland champs which is like having a big target on your back ye saw what happened Dublin last year and Donegal the year before and Dublin again the year before that, and then you have the hunger aspect of it which Tyrone are going to have in spades, will we have the same hunger as last year?? I hope we will coz if we don't we will be found out next Sunday , m stack I hope I answered your question there kid and for the record there will be nobody happier than I if I'm wrong and we win next week but iv got to call it as I see it .

Truth being told, I have 100 Euros on a Dublin/Kerry double, I'm verily happy with the first game, but as for our own...

Kerry spoofers out in force I see with the predictable stuff being rolled out.
Couple of decent sods calling it as it is and not trying the poormouth.
Come off it for Christ sake you lot know you are favourites for a 5 plus win.

there will be no co-operation from tyrone with rte and their sycophants in dublin journalism...the tyrone squad is right to have not had anything to do with rte over this past few years and hence we saw the reaction this week...as james horan pointed out there is an agenda and a witch hunt in place...would be very interesting to see the mandarins in rte squirm if tyrone get to the final...

Just throwing it out there, but I'd imagine if Kerry get through, they'd rather play Mayo!??

just throwing it there who do the Dubs want to meet? Kerry Cinderella every RTE pundits purists of the game or Tyrone the Ugly sister who has to kiss a few frogs to gain respect and then hope prince charming will pop up with a Golden ticket to the ball.

fortyfive, Kerry are not exactly purists at the moment, I'd get more pleasure in beating them over your selves!
