If Tyrone take their goal chances it's a different outcome; at times they carved Kerry open. They need a few forwards to get back to being able to win SAM but they are a coming force. Tyrone were battling the media and you have to be honest today the officials also. They should have had a clear second penalty and some really, really bad decisions went against Tyrone. I wonder if the Sunday Game and Dublin media will call this out? I won't hold my breath.

Shocking blinkered vision. Anti ulster this, victim card that. Some of yous are like a broken record, crying persecution again and again.

What did you make of Niall Morgan's kickouts and frees by the way?

Great game, pity the referee decided it. About seven very bad decisions, all clearly favouring Kerry. I guess we thought RTE/GAA would have preferred Kerry over Tyrone, I just did not think they would have been has blatant about it. Reminds me of the Lakers/Kings fix in the early 00's.

The Tyrone keeper was shocking. If Tyrone had a bit more cut with the goal in sight. If Tyrone got a second penalty.

Pure farce. As someone says above, how do you beat a great (very good in my opinion) team that has everything given to them when the chips are down?

Indeed brend that's true. However you can't criticise Tyrone on one hand and ignore blatant injustices that go against them on the other. Having said that Kerry are a streetwise team now and can close games out now. For what it's worth the systematic, sinister, nasty campaign against Tyrone has been one of the GAA and Irish media's darkest periods. It has been nothing short of shameful and an utter disgrace.

Tyrone tried hard but Kerry were able to up the pace whenever it was needed. Their response to the penalty goal showed how difficult it will be to dethrone them. Tyrone are a young team and should be in contention over the next few years. Well done to Kerry.

The bias towards Tyrone from the SG analysts afterwards was sickening. Brolly and O'Rourke were like Harte cheerleaders. Kerry thoroughly dominated the second half and were good value for their win despite JOD and Gooch playing poorly IMO. Anyone who thinks Morgan is on the same planet as Cluxton regarding ability needs their head examined. He was Kerry's 16th man today. Tyrone close but still some distance away from the very top teams. They may challenge over the next couple of years though but still some stretch away from the Kerrys, Dublins and Mayos of this world.

Yes jimbo, there are a lot of positives for Kerry, but the way they were opened up for goal chances,so easily and so many times, gives me a lot of hope if we can get over Mayo.I would fancy Dublin to destroy that Kerry defense. They are far from watertight.

Kerry marginally the better side and just about deserved it. No point giving out about the ref, decisions made and that's it. Tyrone played well and with maybe an extra scoring forward or two will certainly be challenging over the next few years. Great strides made this year and certainly looking forward to winning back the Ulster title. We lacked a bit of ruthlessness when the goal chances presented themselves maybe due to a lack of experience but the fact we created them provides something positive. I do feel Mayo/Dublin would be too strong for Tyrone even if we had come out on top and I feel they will be too strong for Kerry as well. I did enjoy o'Rourke et al trying to soft soap the Tyrone public afterwards. I believe that if the result had been different so too would their attitude. Congratulations to Kerry.

Yeah, them 'southern media' fellas kicking Tyrone wides and even worse that photographer fella taking bad kickkouts straight to Kerry players. They'd do anything to make sure Tyrone didn't win. Take a leaf out of Brends book. You win with class and lose with dignity. By the way do you ever contribute on here unless your outraged at something done by them 'southern media' mob.
Kerry took their chance and Tyrone didn't . That's sport. Same happened Donegal last year. Learn from it and move on.

Joxer you are obviously on a different planet than most of us-the ref handed it to Kerry with two very poor decisions and the penalty that was not awarded changed the result- you need to watch the games without the tinted spec!!! At least 3 other Kerr players could have got black cards.

Agree with that joxer,i also thought some of Tyrones basic skills and decision making were awful.T McCann overcarried at one stage and was blown up.He gave away possession quite a few times.Kerry had better players who made fewer mistakes.

Niall Morgan had a bad game, between him and the biased ref those two cost Tyrone this match, and the RTE panel my God they are cringeworthy,at least we were spared Pat 'puke' Spillane today.
Next it's Mayo's turn to overcome the bias because no doubt the Dubs will get every 50/50 and more likely 60/40 decisions as Tyrone suffered today.

Come on Mayo Come on Dublin. Beat the Kerrymen. Tyrone should have had a few goals. They got one. Unlucky with 2nd peno apppeal. Kerry folk are cocky and arrogant like see above. Dublin or Mayo will score goals and convert frees. Finally hope Deegan does'nt ref again (Kerry ref)

Better team won. Whether or not ref gave black cards didn't have any influence on result. Penalty decision was impossible to call in my view. There was contact from O'Mahon y but big Tyrone lad went down easy (as they usually do). Their history of unsporting behaviour might have come back to haunt them. Maybe it'll teach them not to go looking for soft frees in the future. You reap what you sow and all that
