Poor miss from Lee Keegan. Dublin now 3 behind. Could easily have been 5.

Have to say that awful decision by the ref and umpires have cost Mayo.

Terrible decision for Dublins second goal, overcarried and then thrown. But saying that, Mayo just sat back and drew Dublin on to them. Can't argue with the overall result. Hopefully Dublin go on and do the business over Kerry

Epic

MDMA turned the game. Dublin had a stronger bench and it told.

A privilege to watch it. Well done both teams - you were brilliant.

well done Dublin. A great side.

roll on the final!

Yeah second dublin goal no goal but the better side won. Mayo didn't take advantage of opportunities in 3rd quarter and the Dubs hit the turbo button.

When Mayo led by 4 points they failed to kick on and actually did not know what to do,but the decision for McMahonns goal was awful and was the turning point..

I feel so so sorry for that Mayo team and their supporters. They have brought so much to the game for so many years and you must now wonder will it ever be their day. Congrats to Dublin, just when it looked like Mayo had gained the upper hand, they powered into the game and made it their own.

Can't agree ziggy,

They had the game in their own hands & conceded three goals in 15 minutes.

Lee Keegan had a great chance to put Mayo 5 points up, when he missed, the games's turning point, the impetus switched to Dublin & they didn't need a second invitation.

Blaming officials is wide of the mark.

Great game amazing athletes. Galway boys will need to become men over the winter if we're even going to give them a contest in connaught

Andy moran was a great introduction but dublin had the stronger bench overall that's what separated the sides.

Can't help but feel sorry for mayo. Produces great footballers, So close to being the top team but never quite getting there.

I agree that Mayo failed to kick on and look unsure of how to play it when they were 4 up,but the second goal was a huge moment in the match, and it should not have counted..

Mayo always snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Keegan had the chance to put them 5 up and blew it.

Mayo simply did not know how to win it. 4 points up was the time to push on but they retreated and Dublin smelt blood. It is hard to know where now for Mayo.. would a manager who has won All Ireland elsewhere benefit them. Have to feel sorry for them but well done Dublin.

No point giving out about refereeing decisions, as on so many occasions we focused too much on trying to create new systems of playing instead playing 15 on 15. The lack of competition in Connacht means they cannot implement these systems. Goals changed the game whether one should have been disallowed or not I as a mayo fan can't complain. The effort put in by the players cannot be questioned. Listening to Brolly saying we have no ruthless despatch sickens me but I can't argue with him. I love the Dubs style of play where they play exceptional balls from the half way line diagonally into their what is usually a two man full forward line. If Mayo played the early diagonal ball into their full forward line I feel they could have got a return out of it. The Connolly saga was irrelevant and I won't be returning to Hoganstand if I see one more post from either set of fans (particularly if my fellow Mayo fans bring it up)

Dubs 2nd goal wasn't a throw, it was a deflected attempt at a fist pass in fairness, better team won!

Great game, well done to Dublin, the 1st goal was a bit lucky but in truth that was the score which sunk Mayo, I think the 2nd shouldn't have stood but I don't really think it made huge a difference, Dublin were never going to lose after the 1st one. Hard luck to Mayo as well of course, I feel for yous, but yous have an excellent team that will be back again.

Also did McMahon dive again?!
