Scandalous refereeing. Very hard for Mayo to play against that.

is the ref afraid the dubs will loose if he doesn't give them a helping hand?

In fairness to Joe I thought he got that O'Shea one right, it wasn't a penalty.

But the tug on the shirt was a yellow card without question.

Dublin playing extremely defensive. It's a straight up lie when they claim to play the traditional brand. They've played like that all year.

Also their favourite ref giving them everything aswell.

The amount of fouling and dragging off the ball is horrible. I hope the analysis highlights this as if it were northern teams there would be an uproar. Ref is giving Mayo nothing. Although Mayo are doing themselves no favors- not pressing up on kickouts and no support for forwards.

Maybe NOW people will realise why Tyrone feel so aggrieved. What Dublin got up to in the first half was far worse than most of what Tyrone have been castigated for. Pulling, dragging, deliberate fouls, 3/4 man tackles etc.

Mayo have settled into the game but Dublin look the better team & getting their scores easier.

But it has to be said, this is a nasty, niggly, cynical game & ublin are the main culprits

So much for two teams with "traditional" values at heart.

I, for one, will be taking no more lectures about how football should be played.

If Donegal played football as negative and cynical as this id disown them

Ulsterman I agree for any Dublin fan to call any team cynical is pot kettle black. Its a disgrace this match. Its clear to see that the issue with football now is the standard of refereeing, its appalling.

I predict Mayo will win out here inspite of the referee's poor calls against them.

It's not a classic but I wont be going anywhere for the next 35 minutes. All to play for still.

Based on that first half, all I can say is thank God for hurling.

Funnily enough this is puke football at its worse and I expect Spillane to say so, oh wait he didn't.

Dublin the better team but Mayo playing into their hands by trying to carry the ball into tackles and playing aimless high balls to one man being tackled by 4. Dublin systematically fouling it seems safe in the knowledge the ref doesn't want to see anyone sent off by either black or red card. That Johnny Cooper challenge was a potential leg breaker and a definite red card, the tug of the jersey not even warranting a yellow and to top it he gives a penalty for a foul outside the area.

Dublin should win this handy if the match continues as it has been.

Off the ball high challenge by Dublins O'Sullivon and he gets a YELLOW. I suggest we stop watching football if this is the standard refeering.
