(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

come on liamo, your above this cute whhor crapology.Fair enough if you think were not going to win it.I also believe playing 4 inferior teams is very poor preperation for semi final, but we have as good a chance as the others. And leave that aul whoorism nonsense to the Kerry lads. For some reason, most of em cannot talk straight.

People are having a go because they are sick and tired of reading the same old disingenuous nonsense all year.

If you think Dublin wont win sam, why start a thread highlighting that point? Why would a fan do that?

This old spiel is played out.

As said yesterday - this CuteHoorism is definitely spreading. It will be followed by a bout of HighHorseitis in one County come the end of September.

1763624 This Dublin and Kerry bluffing is incredibly tiresome at this stage. Patronising rubbish. "Your arrogance offends me".

Agreed its not as if facts are even thrown out to back up a view , just opinions ,
As for Jimbodub he has been nothing if not consistent all year in saying he believes Dublin wont win , that's not to say I believe him or agree with him .
Boring doesn't come close to whats been passed off as cute hoorisim

No one mentioning Mayo?

I think they will turn the Dubs over this year in the semis.

So the Kerry bluffing is ridiculous but the Dublin bluffing is reasonable and logical. According to the Dub bluffer of course. Give us a break.

I don't think Dublin are any weaker than 2013, in fact I'd argue we are stronger and our younger player are not as green. We only came alive in 2013 in the second half of the semi final after a terrible first half and an average display against Cork. Memory for people is often a case of only remembering the positives.

With the set up of the all Ireland series as it is there are two or three serious games for each team. For Dublin this year potentially two, Kerry maybe one, Donegal and Mayo may have 3.

I don't think there is a clear favourite. All remaining sides have weaknesses, and little or nothing separates the top four.

I don't tjhink so Seany

We were stronger with Mannion and O'Gara in the team

That meant we could spring the likes of Kev...

We had more options in the FF line and that's what won us the All Ireland in 2013

Anything happens to Brogan and we are in big trouble

Brogan will be 100% targeted from here on in...

The best managers will realise our over reliance on him again... where else are the scores coming from?

Less options cant be a good thing... and unfortunately that's exactly what we have now

Heap in that Flynner is working at at least 20% less, Kev is an impact player and we've had to start him more thus far - which hasn't really worked out for him

Listen I know I'm coming across doom and gloom but I'm not going to just blindly waffle on with blue glasses on...

Again to just reinforce my point...

Those think it ridiculous are the ones keeping this thread at the top of the main forum

:)

Damo... thank you for adding that point

But you can believe it.

Worst bit about the gap between the top 3-4 growing is all this BS where the 'fans' come on and try to kid everyone they wont win, then come September take great delight in the cream rising to the top and all that rubbish. Kerry and Dublin are rightfully favourites and it is a close call between the two, Mayo are a close third with Donegal slightly behind again. You can argue all you want about injuries this or lack of serious competition that, but one of these teams is most likely to lift SAM and anyone who tries to deflect favoritism etc is wasting their time it is a futile and pointless exercise, and boring quite frankly, all that'll happen is neutral supporters from the lesser counties like my own will end up switching off in droves as the fans of the stronger teams continue to act the maggot.

I know I said something that I didn't actually say...

That's the break down of your response to me.

Yes.. Quite puzzling isn't it.

Also a break from what?

Giving my opinion is it...?

I respect your opinion Jim but I think your focusing too much on the negatives and possibly assuming all is rosy in the other camps. Your entitled to hold the view Dublin will fall short this year but I think it's too close to call. For the record i think it's wide open, I think all four top teams have a great chance but I think Dublin are moving nicely.

You have a point on O'Gara, he is a big loss. Fair point on Brogan too but same applies to Murphy, JOD, MCManus and O'Connor.None of those sides would absorb such a loss.

You also have a point in the lack of bite from the bench but Mannion wasn't exactly on fire in the All Ireland series in 2013 so it's hard to argue you miss something you never had IMO. Flynn at less than 100% is an issue too.

But I would suggest our midfield is stronger than 13, bar the farcical goals conceded against Fermanagh our centre is stronger too. Kilkenny has stepped up as a primary scorer and Connolly is in the form of his career. We are also sound from frees in what will make a difference.

But you are a cheerleader, and always have been.
The blue tinted glasses are never off. Even now, you think pretending to believe what you say is somehow helping your cause. But nobody believed it at any point. The only reason people are bothering arguing is because it is the height of championship season, yet any time Dublin are mentioned you come in with this disingenuous party line and kill the possibility of any actual debate. People have far more respect for those who try to debate gaa issues openly and honestly for the most part at least, rather than use the site as a propaganda machine for their own county.

You see jimbo, the difference between the Kerry lads playing the cute hoor and yourself, is that more often than not, those lads are joking - it is satirical, they know we know it is nonsense. You seem to think people will genuinely believe it. You take us for idiots basically.

1763368 Listen Kerry lads

We know you don't like the attention

But save the lies

Just be honest... No one buys the BS on here

You are in a bloody great position

Just enjoy it

You are going to do back to back AI's...

Here's where you said it. We're saying the same to you, but of course your jumping to your own convenient conclusions about it. Give is a break from the the patronising rubbish Jimbo.

I'm not even bothered to read the responses as at a glance

They have nothing to do with this thread or the actual reasoning behind it

It's the usual sorts looking to turn a thread into what they want to talk about

Admin could you please be fair and remove them so we can have a bit of actual debate on the topic at hand

I'm not lying.. I've been saying it for months...

It's not as if I just came out with this stuff.

Now any chance we can actually stick to the topic of this thread?

The waffle out of you is quite tiresome

If it means so little why comment lads?

Seriously... just using your own logic here

If it's pointless and meaningless.. why comment on the topic?

I honestly believe that Dublin wont make the final for the reasons I've pointed out

Now... for some reason you have a problem with that...

If you're just going to take the thread off topic then I don't see why I should answer your questions any further
