Ath clThe iath theres no one in Kerry worried about the Dubs i think
Jim Gavin is worried i would be too after that display against
limited opposition. The Dubs wont make the final they have no midfield
for me its a Kerry Mayo final

@wkerry ; Agreed!
This Dublin team are not going to win Sam this year certainly not when you see a team of Kerry calibre standing in their way! What a team, what a performance against those football giants from Kildare sure we may as well just put the green and gold ribbons on Sam and send him to the Kingdom now! Sorry Mayo and Donegal posters!

It was outstanding stuff from Kerry, an absolute joy to watch and well done to them, I hope they can carry the form forward because there will be much tougher tests ahead, sadly Kildare threw in the towel early on in the second half.

Another game gone by and it is hard to know where Dublin are really! Vulnerable at the back and in midfield? Probably... I would imagine we will see a far different Dublin side in the semis.. There was no question that Dublin were not going to win on Sunday, the soft goals have slowed the hype machine thankfully!

Kerry looked awesome against Kildare, albeit Kildare threw the towel in much like they did against us. Kerry were ruthless in going for goals - possibly a tactic they might have if they were to face Dublin or Mayo??

Kerry are as defensive as any other team now but have the players to also attack. When you have Gooch pulling strings like he did Sunday they are formidable opposition for anyone

An attempt is being made to build Kerry up for a big fall. Everyone knows that the last 7 champions haven't made the final in the following year. Everyone knows that it is extremely difficult to win back-to-back titles in the football championship. It is more probable that Monaghan or Tyrone will have the hunger, tactics and talent in place to make the final. Ciarraí abú!

It's not looking overly difficult for Kerry at the minute

You have the easier semi on paper - unless Monaghan or Tyrone can pull off what would be a costly victory for the bookies

JOD should be back

I think you boys are primed to do it...

You have it in your DNA and that's the difference between yourselves and the likes of Dublin, Donegal, Cork...

We don't really have that sort of pedigree... Dublin very so slightly but nothing compared to Kerry

Trust me... I'd love to see you struggling but that's just not the case...

If you do it.. then hats off

Perhaps the hype surrounding the Dublin panel made up of super humans will be put to bed...

At a time when Dublin are apparently threating the very existence of the GAA with it's dominance.

Kerry put back to backs...

Hopefully some doom and gloomers will finally shut up

The bookies dont give either monaghan or tyrone a chance. 20/1 monaghan, 30/1 tyrone, 11/8 kerry for the all ireland. A team is as good as their last couple of performances, monaghan are the weakest, tyrone are improving but some way off, kerry and mayo are the stand out teams so far with amazing performances. I think that kerry wont break a sweat until the final.

Kerry won't get any further. People are getting carried away with their performance on Sunday. It was great but against what. Kerry looked up for it but Kildare only did for the first 10 minutes then their pace and drive completely disappeared. Kerry players were popping over some lovely scores but not a Kildare man within 5 yards of them was unreal.
They are coming up against Monaghan / Tyrone the next day and although I'd love to see Monaghan advance, I think it will be Tyrone. Tyrone are a seasoned rugged team that love getting a shot at Kerry. They will be in their face and certainly won't be giving away as much space as Kildare. Kerry could have drove the bloody team bus up the middle of Croke Park without even clipping a Kildare player!! If Monaghan do prevail then Kerry would probably have too much big game experience for them but I think it will be Tyrone and also to advance to the final with Dublin / Mayo!!

All due respect to Monagahan / Tyrone

Kerry are a better team and they would be doping well to get within 5-6 points of them

I was wrong to question that Kerry team last year...

Seems Dublin fans are are not being honest..everyone knows they will not be beaten this year..Kerry are still in transition..it will be another 2 or 3 years before we see the best of this kerry team.

Well there was one lad caught in Monaghan but it was a work colleagues fault. Surely you're not suggesting it's more widespread than that?

It pains me to say it but I totally agree. Kerry are absolutely unstoppable. Against, let's face it, a team who blew away the second best team in Munster, that was an unbelievable second half performance from Kerry. How Fitzmaurice has managed to keep this level of performance under wraps all season can only be described as outstanding management, up there with Micko I would say. Even without 'star' and JOD the forward lines were Brazilian like. They put Dublin in the halfpenny place. I'd fancy either Donegal or Mayo against the jacked Jackeens. Kerry will simply demolish Monaghan or Tyrone and stroll past Donegal or Mayo in the final. It just goes to show you, funding, sponsorship, population, home advantage etc all add up to nothing. Yerra, ye can't beat class.

What are the odds that the Blue Juggernaut would ever select one player 35 or older ( Bearing in mind that we have 2 in the same line)

I'd estmiate about a million to one, it just wouldn't be even countenanced due to the staggering amount of prodigious youngsters being churned out by the super blue underage system

Kerry are way ahead of every other team in the country....it beggars belief the selection of quality players in every position. Dubs nowhere near them...just hand them SAM now.....save us all the pain !!!!!

Alan Brogan will be 34 in January. If Alan decides to go again next year then he will get his game next year. It won't be a Dublin decision, it will be an Alan decision. Fitzmaurice has Galvin in his squad for psychological reasons, similar to Brogan in that you have an experienced battle hardened impact sub coming in if needed. Of course Dublin would play a 35 year old should that player be of the calibre of a Galvin or Brogan, only as an impact sub though. In fact I think Denis Bastick may be 35. If not then he is 34 and almost 35. Some experience in that Kerry panel though. Unstoppable this year.

he doesn't start though does he and secondly he is surrounded by other superstars in the attack, that's not the case with our defence with its sieve like characteristics, how could they manage to chase forward of the calibre of Flynn, commonly, kilkenny, rock, Bernard and many more on the bench for 70 mins without being burned many times?

Up to the weekend Kerry wer average at best an lucky to pull of last years win - now we're amazing an unstoppable...oh how fickle folks are!! Expect the talk 2 be all about Mayo next week after they dispose of Donegal..Mayo an Kerry were da 2 best sides in last years champo and expect both to go the distance to this years final.
