No disrespect to Fermanagh - but it should be game 1,

Probably the fact if Dublin on first - alot of their fans will leave before or during the second game, also Kerry will bring a small crowd... its not Dublin's fault - but with all counties a % of fans won't stay for the second game.. and with Dublin having the biggest of the 4 support they will have a bigger % percentage leaving early, if on first...
a few yrs ago Armagh played Down in a NFL Div 2 final . The Cork /mayo Div 1 Final was poor and the majority of the 20,000 Down/Armagh support left early in an attendence of apprx 30,000 - leaving Croke Park empty and devoid of atmosphere!!!

Hence why the Dubs are on at 4!! and if they were on earlier we'd have the moaners on from Kerry about the distance and arriving home on Skellig Michael at 5am etc etc etc etc.

Kerry v Kildare will be played.infront of a.near empty croker park, at least if u had the dubs game first some of then would have stayed on to watch the second game! Silly as well with the qualifiers being played in an empty croker park today, absolutely ruins the whole experience, a bit of cop on from the powers that be wouldn't go astray!

Now, this is not an anti-Dublin thread but why is the Kildare V Kerry match tomorrow the curtain raiser to the Dublin game? The All-Ireland champions are the curtain raiser, surely not right? and in what is bound to be a closer more competitive game. When we talk about the GAA and the Dubs this is what we mean, I just find it unfair that the GAA always fix Dublin to play at the more convenient 4pm throw in. I'm sure the Dubs will even agree with me on this one
