I guess you didn't understand the question. Just decided to have a rant about Mayo.

Counties showing least potential?

Meath, Down, Laois, Louth, Offaly, Limerick in football.

Wexford, Offaly, Antrim and 20 other counties in Hurling.

Both Donal keoghan and Graham Reilly would have walked onto any Meath team of the past. Fact.
So how is that delusional? Pathetic and unintelligent comment from someone who knows nothing about Meath football.

Very true - lol.

The figures said affiliated clubs but was still struggling to get the figure against ourselves - 108. When you look at our County website we have 43 clubs. Some of these are football only, some hurling only and some dual. Suppose it probably counts 'clubs' which have been set up for teams who play as an amalgamation at underage, dual clubs who maybe have both codes regsitered as separate clubs, clubs with ladies teams etc though I wouldn't have thought this would account for 60 odd other clubs beyond those 43 which we know.

Unlike Roscommon fans and their constant whingeing over Ballagh? LOL. We'll just have to be content with twice as many Nestor Cups as Roscommon, I suppose. How's your All-Ireland campaign going? You should be challenging for Sam according to the Bould John.

Jaysus keep your knickers on ladies. It is a list of affiliated clubs per County. I am only giving figures from something that appeared in Congress papers last year so I am sure they did their research but the url is below. Talk about giving the delivery boy a kicking cos there were an extra few bits of pepperoni on your pizza.

Some of those figures for clubs are wrong / misleading, as in some cases treat dual clubs as two clubs, as in Cork I believe. There aren't 101 clubs in Limerick, 65 is closer to the mark.

Not that it matters but Kevin Reilly(if fit) would get into any team of the past too..

Anyway the biggest under-achievers are Cork without question over the last 5 years.
