Brolly. ' kerry playing a screen defense' anyone else puzzled at why he no longer refers to blanket or mass defense. Surely after his rant last year he couldnt have changed his attitude again? Why are kerry lauded for playing a smart gameplan but if lets say fermanagh play defensively at 4 they will roll out the condescending remarks about cutting your cloth blah blah. I mean the man even praised monaghans 14 behind the ball tactics. Is the blanket defense ok now that kerry have started using it?

No disrespect meant to monaghan by the way. Yous are doing whats required. Brolly ended half time referring to KERRYS BEAUTIFUL BASKETBALL STYLE GAME!! Now im not knocking kerry. My issue is with the hypocrisy of the likes of joe brolly a man who turned huge numbers against football with his negative bile. On a side note kildare are in for a terrible trouncing.

Only two chances of that Kerry team being beat. monaghan to catch them on the hop or Dublin at full pelt. They will be ready and willing to beat Tyrone and Mayo in a Final??

There is such a gap between div1 teams and pretty much every other team

Tactically, this has been a bizarre game from Kildare. A mirror of the Dublin performance. Is it something about Croke Park? Is Jason Ryan hell-bent on proving some point?

They're jogging into contact. Podge Fogarty is still on the bench. The lads who play against the Harlem Globetrotters have a better plan.

Something else, which Jason Ryan can't be blamed for; what the hell happened to our shooting??

Game over after half time, soft goal by Kerry. Now I see Galvin coming in as a sub, time to switch over. Terrible day for Kildare, result vCork seems years ago.

The top 4/5 teams are wayyyyyyyyyy ahead of the rest. Kildare are just a poor team sadly and Kerry are hammering them without hitting top gear.

The effort from some of the Kildare lads is a disgrace.
O'Donoghue injury is only point to note in relation to this match.
Championship structure has to change. These hammerings are no use to anyone

If Meath had beat Westmeath, there was a great chance they could have been playing Kerry,I'm glad we aren't!

Untested and 'under cooked' though!!! Funny the way you only hear these terms in relation to Dublin. When any other team steam rolls the opposition it's because they are brilliant. When Dublin do it, it's because the opposition are poor. How bad are Cork though? If Leinster is a poor championship then what is Munster? If the Dubs get through it should be a great semi. That Kerry forward line is quick although the Dubs won't give them the acres that Kildare are coughing up.
