Kerry v Kildare

Lets be realistic If Alan O Connor stayed on the field it would
be very close or a Cork win Kildare were fresh Cork had 2 hard games
and after a defeat their heads were down.Kerry have the best midfield
in the country if we only break even we will win by 12 points we have
the forwards there is always one good game in Kildare that was last night

We'll have to bring our A game next Sunday if we are to stay with a younger and super fit Kildare team,. Kildare have picked up a lot of expierence and confidence through the back door and in fairness we are sitting ducks , it is going to take every bit of cunning and reff plamaucing and cheating that we can muster to beat this Kildare team, we need to get stuck into the reff early in the week get some of our former players to soften him up who ever he is, even though I'm sure our county chairman has picked who it'l be all ready and the old hamper will probably be deliverd first thing in the morning by the bomber and ogie . Anyway I'm OFF to practice my excuses for when we lose.
God bless and take care.

Jackeen I've yet to see a post regarding Kerry that you have posted that isn't a dig of some sort.

Having watched Kildare last night, there is no doubt in my mind they are warm favourites and it will take a huge performance to get past them next Sunday.

The standard of cute hoorism is at rock bottom in Kerry these days.

Jackeen I can't access that but I presume it something positive other than a dig at us.
If so I stand corrected on my previous post.

Cute hoorism? That's all you can say? Safe to say you didn't see Kerry and Kildare's respective performances against the Rebels. but no let's just use a tired old prejudiced view based on where I'm from rather than what's happened on the actual field.

You would accuse me being arrogant if I based my prediction on our history, tradition, DNA and so forth yet I try to base it on facts and its mockery and disrespect dished my way

Westkerry not jealous at all I'm just calling it as I see it, your right it was some achievement last year with basically one good forward and thank god it's not the Kerry team of the 00's cause no one would have a chance. Honestly and I'm meanthis with greatest of respect but your all Ireland winning half forward line wouldn't get on the Dublin panel now that's not to say Kerry couldn't beat us in a one off game.

Good old Leftback trying to take a rise out of Kildare posters but you need to be a little more subtle.

Clondalkin regarding the HF line 2/3 wouldn't get in ahead of Flynn or Connolly I'd except that.
You could argue that neither would Dublin's midfield get into Kerry's midfield.
I'm point to you is, JOD, Moran, Sheeran, Geaney, Young, Crowley, Mahony, O'Se, Maher and Young & Walsh are far from average.
Average teams don't win all Ireland's.

I love the way Kerry posters build up the opposition. As someone who goes to all Kildare games I know what we are capable of, both good and bad so I take the compliments with a large helping of salt, It was a very good performance last night, yes Cork were flat and that was a big factor, but it was a div 1 final side against a side relegated to Div3 so all credit to our guys. But next up are Kerry, All Ireland champions and masters of football, Maybe If they are complacent in any way we may have a small chance,as we are scoring heavily most days, But we have a young new side of good footballers and it will be a great occasion for those guys to measure themselves against the standard bearers. Looking forward to it.

To say that Kildare will be regarded as "warm favourites" is indeed cute hoorism of a low order.

Any mockery & disrespect that comes your way has nothing to do with where you're from. It is hard earned & richly deserved due to all the hard work you have put in to get it.

Clondalkin
You can relax kid coz we won't be alloud to win the allireland this year. Poor Padraig Hughes got such a doing from brolly and the anti Kerry brigade that no ref will give us a 50/50 call for the test of the championship. If we don't win every game by at least 15 points for the rest of the championship we're gone. So we're as good as gone , we're the walking dead so to speak.

Westkerry they wouldn't get onto the Dublin panel never mind our half forward line. Marc O Se the greatest corner back I've ever seen but he's 35 and there for the taking O Mahony is a beast but he's 35 as well and had already retired after being dropped, I give you that your midfield is outstanding but the rest are good but nothing special. Ok maybe average is harsh but it's no great Kerry team compared to the passed Kerry teams.

I'll let the games played on the pitch speak for themselves and the insults and mockery to others Kildare were in reality 10-12 points a better team last nignt whether you or anyone else likes it. Against a team that everyone on HS said were robbed against Kerry the first day. But don't let facts get in the way of a tired old narrative.
