Can't go wrong for €10 a month for 3 months Kingdomboy. Plenty of sports on there and you'll get the start of the Premier League in that time.

Good man KingdomBoy1, I'm glad you're enjoying it, Sky isn't so bad and RTE still have most of the games anyway, which I'm in favour of unless Sky turns out to be a landslide success, which I can't really see happening.

Ps, more importantly, what kinda biscuits you have???

Ya lads it is great value and I even enjoy the punditry it's very scientific and you have Peter Canavan Jim mcguinness and Darragh Ó' Sé 3 guys who are up to date and very relevant and senan Connell as well. And ya il get a look at the start of the premiership as well, sweet.

They have to be the good old USA biscuits , do ye get them up the country? An ould mug of tae and a few jam rings or some chocolate digestives can't bate them.

I won't be attending either, it should be in Omagh like the 2008 semi final between Derry and Fermanagh but Omagh is a shocking treck too.

Oh you get them alright, I've been known to polish off a tin or two, I love the jam rings especially, they're a great job.

Thanks for the post Kingdomboy. You probably realise now how many on here are being blissfully ignorant to sky to suit their outdated agendas.

10 euro a month for 3 months for the gaa. 600 euro a year is pure code wallop. Pull your head out of the sand lads because your missing out on the only TV station that analyises our sport properly and treats it with the respect it deserves. No dinosaurs looking to make a name for themselves. Oh and ulster teams actually get treated equally for once thank God.

I assume this reduce charge for sky is just a republic of Ireland thing as I see nothing about it on the website, £25.50 extra a month it costs

Ya lads look there is no point but telling the thruth sky are reasonably priced and hopefully they will stay that way, I took on board what a lot of ye were saying about getting it in and let a few neighbors and relatives in to watch it , it's kind of a throw back to my grandfathers time when there would only be one radio in the locality .

Go easy on the ould jam rings kiddo, remember the turn styles in Croker are narrow enough :-) .
Also I called into the mannor west in Tralee and sky have a sales desk there and that's where I got that deal I didn't even know this offer was available till I talked to the guy, if that's any help to any1 , obviously ye'r not going to travel to Tralee but I'm sure sky would have a sales desk in most big shopping centres around the place.

I for one Ormond will be missing it now that it's only on Sky. Got to see one Ulster semi as delayed coverage and will have to wait to the Sunday Game for the second - that or go round the parish peeking through curtains (which I try to keep to a Tuesday night only).

If I remember correctly the amount of games actually shown live has increased with sky's involvement so it is not a question about sky or rte/tv3. These games (this particular game prob would be...am talking overall context) were not on any channel before sky

Haha that's true they are narrow enough, but sure they might open up an aul side gate for me if things get too bad.

Mayoman - it's the first time in a long long time (if ever) where I couldn't watch the Ulster semis on terrestrial television - not even one of them.

KingdomBoy strikes me as a very plain digestive or rich tea type.

Me personally, Like a bit of variety in my biccys.

Fruit shorties are nice. Dark choclate McVities are in a league of their own.

Toffeepops, anyone ever had a few of those ?

Did you know you can use a twix as a straw in a cup of tea or coffee if you bite off both ends too. Try it, You wont be let down i promise.

Good offer on Sky sports in Northern Ireland at the minute if you are with Talktalk tv/broadband. You can get Sky sports for £4 per month for 3 months, it also includes Sky movies. The offer is on their Web site. It goes back to £40 per month after 3 months up but you can pull out by giving 30 days notice. First time I watched sky for gaa last night, very good analysis though the commentary could be better.

Ha ha you'll have to sneak in after the team bus :-)
On a serious note though wayno have you ever tryed foxes double choc chocolate cookies? If not then get down to the shop right now and buy them, you won't want to leave the house for the day, you'll just want to be left alone with the biscuits and a mug of tae. And I remember the toffee pops allright jays they were nate. And I must try that thing with the twix as well ,sounds messy .

Kingdom,

How did you get Sky Sports for €10? At that price I would invest myself.

As for biscuits, I would be a Chocolate Kimberly man myself. I polished off a full tin in one evening a few years ago.

Happy days.
