Tough draw, we won't get anything soft against Derry.

3 out of 4 great gammes in prospect (the exeception being Kildare vs Cork/Kerry).
There is no clear favourities in any of them. Tipp do have a decent chance agianst Tyrone and the other two are 50/50 as well.
It will be great to see either Fermanagh or Westmeath in the quarter finals.

My prediction is Galway, Tyrone, Fermanagh and Cork/Kerry.

1752323 As a Galway man i am happy its a home draw as at least we will get some support behind us, fair play to a good gathering of people who travelled to Armagh yesterday. The game itself is a tough draw as Derry phsically are a big team and are very cute in defensive mode , two things Galway have struggled against lately. Our forwards struggled in the second half yesterday and also the six day turn around is tough on both teams!
At this stage if you want to be seeen as a seriious team we need to be beating anyone on our side of the draw but i would not be hugely confident.

I would be hoping that Derry will provide a stiffer test than Armagh, especially as I think we are stronger in Defense, Midfield and attack than Armagh. In saying that, playing Galway on their home turf is no easy feat. Galway gave Mayo a tight game, just like we gave Donegal a tight match. So I would expect this to be a very tight encounter.

I'd give Tipp a great chance of beating Tyrone. Tyrone playing poorly at the moment and still haven't worked out who is taking the frees. Tipp at home and having just beaten Louth by about 20 points.

Belclare Derry have a 7 day turnaround actually but I would still feel the venue is the bigger factor as we skip the bus ride, both teams are very similar really
