That's the sort of thing they want you to say though ziggy, they're not here for proper debate, they're here to drive the boot in and if that's what gives them a little tingle in their underpants then let them at it, who am I ruin to their fun :-)

I disagree ziggy32001. Kildare have had 3 all stars and WestMeath 1 since the last time a meath fella was on the list. And I would say is you where to pick a Lenister 15 outside Dublin (sorry dubs) would you honesty pick 8+ from Meath?

Meath have EASILY the best players available of any other county outside of Dublin, but they have major issues.

How so? your defense is dirt. like no top quaility defenders. Rooney looks good midfield alright. Reilly top class, other too half forwards are adverage. Bray is getting on, McMahon looked good other day but has too do same against tyrone. Wallace is hit and miss extremely fast but need improve his footballing ability kicked some bad wides other day.

I just don't understand that Ohtobe. You re open a thread just to get the boot in after declaring it 'a joke of a topic' before the match. What is wrong with some GAA supporters?

DoireCity that's actually a pretty interesting topic, 15 players in Leinster outside of Dublin.

Wanna give it a go since you're a non Leinster man yourself so would probably be the least biased?

Well there has been reports of moving statues in market square Mullingar, and reports are rife about a man jaywalking through the town in full white suit belting out i am the Westmeath bachelor and your such a good looking woman, however these have actually been denied and turned out to be just the buzz nally heading home from the pub. :)
All been said very well done to Westmeath, we gave them the chance and they took it with both hands. Huge congrats to them.

Over the last eight years in the east I would have put Kildare as second to Dublin with Meath in third. The first 30 minutes on Sunday Meath were very good with the two inside forwards flying machines. How on earth did they lose from there. As a Tyrone fan I would be weary about them but they do not seem to have adapted to the more modern defensive systems(whether thats good or bad I dont Know) but the losses to Wicklow, Limerick and Westmeath do seem to follow a pattern that Meath cannot close shop.

Just showing him what it feels like he gives it and he seems well able to take it.

Byanton as yet we haven't lost to Wicklow, although that may have been luck rather than anything else.
McMahon and Wallace along with Reilly would make most teams if not all in country

The set up of the team is different to individual talent.Micko had a year to learn from last year, but he decided to not put a defensive system in place.Thatshis fault not the players. There are some very good footballers in Meath.

Uncle_Fester im not sure if i could pick a full 15 but i have a few name i think could get in the team over their Meath counterparts

1.Paddy Collum (longford)
2.
3.Simon Donohoe (cracking job against down hopefully not agaisnt us)
4.Kieran Martin (WM)
5.Darren Strong (Laois)
6.Ger Egan (WM) After last weekend heroics
7.Colm Begley (Laois)
8.Michael Quinn (Longford) Good AFL experience
9.
10.Derek Maguire (louth) from what i saw of him last year
11.John Heslin (Westmeath) again maybe out of posistion
12.Ciarán Lyng (wexford) out of posistion but worth a mention
13.Niall McNamee (Offaly) I think he is still playing
14.Donal Kingston (Laois)
15.Pádraig Fogarty (kildare)

Thats just few names that come to mind. Might not all be playing but I think you could pick a rest of lenister team with Majority non meath players if you wanted

I would put very few meath players in and feel tyrone have nothing to worry about. HAs anyone else come close to conceeding 6-30 odd over 2 games except Kildare (but they where up against better teams that Meath - no offence WM and Wicklow) London have conceded less against Cavan and Roscommon as have Carlow

No point have a few quick forward with thos figures coming at your 'defence'

I still think Meath with a few tweaks to their style of play and a bit more experience and leadership are ahead of everyone in Leinster bar Dublin. Lets be honest, we took our foot off the gas on Sunday, Me and every other Meath fan thought we had it won at ht, however thats no excuse for throwing away a lead like that. Lets also be honest that we could have had possibly another 2 goals in the first half and another 2 in the second half. Meath easily dispatched Wstmeath in the league also
