Galway v Dublin LSHC QF 2015

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Flat game last week and I can't see either team being as poor today.
Dublin looked well off the pace required at this stage and made some bad mistakes and lucky to be still in it. I would slightly fancy Galway but hope I'm wrong of course. We need goals if we're to win.

Tighter pitch in tullamore might suit Galway but after watching Dublin last week they just seem to get into d groove and scoring power is actually better than I thought. Feel there cud b a goal fest in this one tonight. Looking forward to it.

All negative thoughts out of the head. Jesus after hearing what happened with Shane Walsh puts sport into perspective. Still though, get out there lads and tear into the dubs... Up the tribes!!!!

Galway - Leinster champions. Clare to put them in their place in the semis. Mark my words ;)

Sorry to say but Dublin look a in real danger of getting slaughtered at the minute. Don't think I have ever seen lads slipping and loosing their footing as much. Galway got the start and everything going for them and once we missed the penalty it looked ominous.
Really disappointing and now its anyone's guess who we end up against in qualifiers.
Could be a cricket score.

Was the train cancelled today from Dublin to Tullmore or road closures, don't see many Dublin supporters in Tullamore today

Superb Galway. First to the ball, contesting everything...forwards are lethal. Dublin have no answer

riverboats would say the dubs got lost traveling, game should have diff been in croke park its not fair the dubs have to travel, they should contact the headquarters for compensation.

How did the ref get 2 yellows there? Bottles it big time. Red for Nolan. Canning will have the last laugh I'm sure.

Like the footballers take them out of croke park and you see the real Dubs, bit of a kick in the backside for the GAA spending such vast amounts of money on Dublin hurling

What are you talking about? Dublin hurlers have had their best results outside of Croke Park (where did they beat Kilkenny 2 years ago?).

Back to the drawing board for Dublin. Peter Kelly was a massive loss today at full back. Rushe needs to be back at centre back. Rebuild from there.

No question which Galway team showed up today. A great win. Dublin racked up a fair score but there was no living with the tribesmen today.

Let's up we can keep that level up for the rest of the summer!

Bittersweet really from a Galwayman.
I feel sorry for the dubs, as hurling would benefit from a strong Dublin and this could set them well back.
Also, its entirely conceivable that Galway could go on and not play well again for the rest of the year.
I know Im being a right misery guts here.

Well done Galway

Only way is up for Dublin

Some serious soul searching needed

Just one of them days... Hats off to Galway

Dubs missing those goal chances in 1st half would have made a bit of difference going into 2nd half

Very disappointing few days for Dublin Hurling

Just have to lick our wounds and realise that there's still games to be won

The back door can be a great advantage if you can get a run of games going

Again

Well Done Galway - today is your day and who knows perhaps another Leinster title...

Dublin didnt turn up today. Galway always look good when have time on ball. They conceded 18 points and tackling/discipline was poor for a team in control. They struggle when game is made into a battle which Clare will do
