Have to agree with clondalkindub here, very refreshing to hear a mangager speak their mind rather than the usual cliches. Most of the time I could actually tell you what a manager was going to say in pre/post match interview before they even say it. Connollydub: let me start with a disclaimer; my history of posting to this site shows I am a great fan of Dublin hurling. They're my go-to team after Galway's inevitable implosion in July. festinog (Galway) - Posts: 3097 - 29/05/2015 15:18:00 1730035 Link 0 |
whats he looking for revenge for? hill16no1man (Dublin) - Posts: 12665 - 29/05/2015 15:26:26 1730041 Link 0 |
Cunningham is talking balls Hill, nothing new there. We were beaten fair and square in 2013 I can assure you nobody is Galway is looking for 'revenge' against the Dublin hurlers. Barnowl94 (Galway) - Posts: 3150 - 29/05/2015 17:18:04 1730091 Link 0 |
Hill, as someone as already pointed out, Cunningham lost the plot completely when he came out with his "our minds were on the [fill in random next game]" to excuse to consecutive defeats this year. festinog (Galway) - Posts: 3097 - 29/05/2015 20:47:55 1730139 Link 0 |

Sorry dark in not carton at wing back Brianmac78 (Dublin) - Posts: 1168 - 29/05/2015 21:26:10 1730154 Link 0 |
Everything points towards a Dublin win in this one. Home advantage, no injury concerns, a good new manager who has them going well again after last years blip. Galway has a great club scene, but it hasn't worked at intercounty level (apart from 2012) for a number of years. Could be a good game if Galway show up and play to their potential, but they rarely do unfortunately. Dublin by 5 points. enver (Limerick) - Posts: 128 - 30/05/2015 09:48:54 1730175 Link 0 |
Dont undertand how Mick Carton and Com Cronin arent in the team, I feel they should be stekhli (Dublin) - Posts: 3121 - 30/05/2015 11:12:02 1730183 Link 0 |
I agree regarding Cronin but it's good to have someone like him to bring on for impact. Word is Carton starts wing back Shane to the corner with P SChutte out inj. Brianmac78 (Dublin) - Posts: 1168 - 30/05/2015 12:11:39 1730196 Link 0 |
The expectation will be for the winner of Dublin v Galway to make the final against Kilkenny. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7859 - 30/05/2015 12:58:28 1730205 Link 0 |

I've a strong feeling for Galway to win this game, im not sure the Dub forwards are good enough to get the better of Galway backs while you can be sure at the other end the likes of Glynn, Canning, Flynn and Mannion are gonna do a lot of damage stekhli (Dublin) - Posts: 3121 - 30/05/2015 14:15:14 1730225 Link 0 |
So much for Galway being ravaged by injuries Brianmac78 (Dublin) - Posts: 1168 - 30/05/2015 14:56:25 1730231 Link 0 |
Listening to Cathal Moore on the radio and Galway posters on here, not a lot of confidence about their chances. I think Galway will turn up big time in Croke Park tomorrow, and not only could they take Dublin out but could go on and win Leinster. Dublin will have to be on their game and expecting a great match tomorrow. clonjon (Dublin) - Posts: 665 - 30/05/2015 15:26:03 1730239 Link 0 |
Conor Cooney, Daithi Burke, David Burke and Niall Burke are all injured. The first three would all probably start the game if fit. Niall Burke would have a chance of starting but would probably be on the bench. Marooned (Galway) - Posts: 2216 - 30/05/2015 16:07:09 1730258 Link 0 |
I just cant see Galway not turning in a good performance. Its not going to happen.Forget the league.Cunningham didnt stay on board for the team to throw in an abject performance tomorrow. This is the date in the calendar that both teams have pencilled in since the draw.A win for either opens up the year nicely.Galway have a few lads out injured.Again, this is a normal thing.Rarely does a team have a full hand to choose from.Galways team looks strong to me.As does our own team.I never saw this game as anything other than 50/50.If Galway can keep Sutcliffe and Schutte quiet,it will go along way to recording a victory. Can we create and score a couple of goals,as this has been our achilles heel over the years. All will be revealed in 24 hours time. cuederocket (Dublin) - Posts: 5084 - 30/05/2015 16:27:30 1730274 Link 0 |
Dublin to win , tight affair but have a feeling 5 -6 pt win , but with two of the most unpredictable teams to ever take to the field the Rory McIlroys of hurling god knows whos going to turn up and what will happen . Really looking forward to game , jersey in wash ,safe journey anyone travelling to game . Damothedub (Dublin) - Posts: 5193 - 30/05/2015 16:41:47 1730280 Link 0 |
No matter what Dublin's form is and no matter what disarray Galway are in, no Galway player is going to ever believe they cannot beat Dublin. That is the one thing Dublin have to try and get over - because nearly county will feel they can beat Dublin. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4897 - 30/05/2015 17:37:37 1730295 Link 0 |
