Armagh V Donegal

Donegalman' that is fair enough and I get what you are saying. On Sunday on a couple of occasions in the 2nd half he was nearly caught as he was inviting players onto him and then got into difficulty and as you say he got the ball offloaded by the skin off his teeth. "As you say this could be a tactic get a couple of the opposition to commit to tackling before off loading and breaking out of defence. On two occasions he definitely took two many steps although on the blindside of the ref' which he got away with' however if pulled for it it would have resulted in Two easy Scorable frees. On one of the occasions when he did manage to get the ball away 'it took a lot out of him and he was walking back towards the goal head down and didnt realize that Armagh had won the ball back quickly and where coming forward at speed' I let a roar out out of me and he looked up and to his credit he burst into an explosive sprint and made the all important tackle.

Dont get me wrong' Im not slatting Karl' as he is one of my favourite players and a very nice guy to talk to off the field and as you will already know he is one of our most important players' whom without we would still be waiting on our 2nd All Ireland.

The point I was trying to make is "If this is a tactic" that is all well and good in the early stages off a game when legs are Fresh' But why heap so much pressure on ourselves when all the hard Graft has been done..? I would rather see them Kick on and finish the game off with more scores rather than inviting unnnecessary situations.
Karl had a decent game and lets hope he can do another number on Derrys starman in a couple of weeks time.

Muckross' Im afraid to say our big Centre back was partaking in Some verbals late on in the game. He was being antagonized by a couple of Armagh lads' It was "girly bags" really but a section of our Crowd were egging him on which I find silly at that stage of the game. I was shouting for him to walk away and leave it in fear of him picking up a silly card but he seems to relish it at times and after it was defused he was still giving verbal rather than letting it go.

Another one of our Keymen for the Derry game' He won the who's the bigger man game' last year in Celtic park before the ball was even thrown up and McGuckin barley got a sniff the whole game.
