I'll be hoping for an Armagh win. I don't like seeing one team dominating the thing all the time, an Armagh win will mix things up a bit.

Mixing it up? Tyrone and Armagh went 12 years between them

1735084 On the game itself, I've changed my views on how I think this game will pan out. With so much talk recently about sledging, physicality etc. I think we could end up with good manners from both camps and hopefully a good game of football as both teams are well able to play good football. The ref will be waiting to stamp his authority on the game so you can expect both sets of players will want to keep their cool early.

If both teams perform to their potential then we will win but last year Armagh got a lucky goal of the post and then Durkans trailing foot and it left it tight. Who's to say the same could happen again!!

I think Armagh will look for a brawl either before throw-in or at half time, that will be their moment to rattle Donegal and attempt to knock them of their rhythm mentally. That's what Kieran McGeeney is all about, Imposing physicality and overpowering your enemy or opposition, while motivating your own team. This Donegal outfit can match Armagh in just about every department, so I think McGeeney will have them resort to something extreme to try and compromise Donegal.

This will be a melting pot, which I think Donegal will edge.

Gary what evidence have you got that this is McGeeney's way? I feel you are being disrespectful to him and his team and feel if you said the same about some other teams it would not get posted by admin.

For those looking to park Armagh rugby club - beside Armagh City hotel have official parking. About 3 minutes walk from ground. Cost £4. Other parking will depend on what direction you come into Armagh. If you come in from Caledon it may be difficult to get parked but generally any parking near the centre should be no more than 10 minutes walk

The closer it gets the more uncertain I am about the outcome of this game, still I'll stick with Donegal.......just.

Statement on the armagh website this morning.

Patrons attending Sunday's game are asked to leave plenty of time to arrive safely at the game. Supporters should note a number of roadworks taking place in Armagh city, which will affect inbound traffic. There are works taking place on the Keady Road, on Railway Street for supporters travelling from the Moy Road/Loughgall Road and the ongoing works at Barrack Street near the Armagh City Hotel for supporters using the Newry Road or coming from the Portadown Road.

Please ensure you leave plenty of time to get parked and to get to the ground. There will be various car parks open throughout the city, including at the Armagh City Rugby ground next to the Coty Hotel and the CBS car park. We ask supporters to be mindful that the Athletic Grounds is located in a residential area and we remind you not to block residential homes and the public highway as vehicles causing obstruction will be removed. Only those with official car passes will get access to the car park to the rear of the grounds.

We ask patrons to fully cooperation with stewards who are there to ensure the health and safety of all supporters. Please note that there will be strictly no re-admission to the ground. There will be no tickets for sale at the ground on Sunday.

We wish all supporters a pleasant visit to the Athletic Grounds and we hope that you enjoy the game.

I don't think I am being disrespectful, I'm basing my opinion on every squad McGeeney has been Involved with. Be it Kildare, Paul Grimley's Armagh last season or McGeeney's squad this season.

Kieran McGeeney clearly likes his sides to be physically strong, this was particularly visible with Armagh last year in comparison to 2013. I watched every televised Armagh last year, and noted how much harder they tackled compared to 2013.

Thanks for posting that Armaghfein' Good to know. Will just have to leave that bit earlier.

On the Match front' Im glad to hear we nearly have all players fit and available and I just hope that they all still are after Sunday should we win, lose or draw.

Getting excited now and cant really say what Armagh are going to bring' and have to say reading across the forum doesnt help as one minute Im reading they are no big Shakes and the next that McGeeney has a team of machines who are going to put it up to us and we'l just scrape over the line'..One thing is whatever Armagh bring Im pretty confident Our boys know what lays ahead and will be ready for it come Sunday.

Roll on 2pm Sunday afternoon and hope we get a good day for it.

In my opinion that was a very nasty Armagh team last year even when McKeever was out. First there was the punch-up against our boys, then similar against Tyrone before what I thought was the worst scene I ever saw in Croke Park when two Armagh players combined to seemingly try to choke Karl Lacey. Hopefully McGeeney will not allow that kind of behaviour.

Heard afterwards Lacey wasn't right for the rest of the game (happened in the first five minutes) and his neck was black & blue for a fortnight afterwards.

At the end of the day, It's up to the official's to ensure that kind of stuff doesn't take place.

We expect fierce competition within Ulster, and I suppose we often see tempers flair during the heat of battle. But officials should step in during those kind of Incidents, and alert the referee to whatever is going on.

In saying that, I thought the referee was a little too anxious to stop the Derry v Down game at the weekend.

Opa01 - the 'worst scene I ever saw at croke park' is a fairly strong statement!! Did u ever see Meath vs Mayo in the 90's??

Early days I know but Donegal look a serious outfit again this year.
Long balls in to Mc Brearty working well. Armagh struggling.
Mc Hugh saying he didn't like what he saw in the warm up and thought Donegal didn't look right. Some waffler me thinks.

Top marks so far to Donegal , cant begin to describe my dissapointment with Armagh look like they have never played with each other constantly going into contact !!! Jesus have they never seen Donegal play ? Sport is strange but think game needs fluke goals if Armagh are to do anything .
Donegal using the long ball has been effective but now they are 8 in front they are just using through the hands , big dissapointment from a competitive point of view , but Donegal showing they will match the best this year .

Div 1 V Div 3 - McGeeney the most over rated manager in the country imo. Based on what I've seen of Paddy McBrearty this year cant understand how he didnt start last years AI final.
