Ciaran Whelan Proposal

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Lets be realistic here folks, none of these pundits are sitting at home or in their places of work etc coming up with these super Idea's to "Save Football".

These fella's like Pat Spillane, Joe Brolly and Ciaran Whelan have all been reading the wide range of debates and points here on HS, they just get to voice them in public and then take the credit or Indeed the critcism, already knowing the Pro's & Cons from our detailed debates and arguments on here.

Both Ciaran and Joe are likely seeking senior GAA positions in the coming years, and are bigging themselves up in the public domain as campaigner's for the greater good of Gaelic Football.

As far as the Whelan thing goes clubs could be 13 aside to help rural teams but I can't see it helping the county situation, they are going to end up ruing gaelic with too many rules. What positions would Whelan scrap? Joe Brolly said he would not watch another game after the Derry/Dublin debacle so he has no street cred. imo

Instead of going to 13 a side maybe they should try making the pitches a little bigger or the goalposts wider.

tired of all these "save football" suggestions, just do what everyone is ultimately going to do, watch something more entertaining.
