Tyrone V Donegal

Have to agree with Tyrone getting a harder time of it officiating wise so far. That's the difference of a game at home I suppose. They're consistent with the types of fouls they commit. When you're by your man that should be it unless you can get back around the right side.

The Donegal blanket is beginning to suffocate, Tyrone are short on options. Ronan mcNabb has been coughing up possession cheaply all game.

Bren, agree about McNabb being the weak link so far but Tyrone very much in this. If I was Tyrone mgt I'd keep telling Cavanagh, Harte and Donnelly to keep running at the heart of the Donegal defence as they will draw frees.

I know the ref has got a few things wrong but overall the game is flowing nicely.

McAlliskey is also having a great second half. Toye looks knackered as well.

The Tyrone attack is a bit pedestrian at times and that's playing into the hands of Donegal.

Gallagher deserved that - clearly caught grabbing cavanaghs hand. Anyone marking frank mcglynn??

Lack of a free taker going to cost Tyrone here.Stupid dive from Sean Cavanagh there.

Cavanagh counted his steps and thought he had to play ball. Was he wrong?

I also thought there was a black card offence to goad a player after missing but must've just dreamed that.

An entertaining game, nice bit of needle and it could have went either way.

Good game overall.. A little bit of everything - Donegal can be masters of the dark arts as shown today! Donegal vs Armagh in Athletic Grounds should be some humdinger!!

That second half was pure muck, I'd have taken westmeath and Louth anyday of the week over that muck. Why do Ulster matches get so much coverage when they're easily the least enjoyable.

Is it just me or do Tyrone struggle to win games as a result of the 'clamp down' on cynical fouling..

McQuillan bottled a lot of decisions - Donegal were no angels either today

2nd half was not as good as first as weather/tiredness took hold. Donegal deserved it (just) in the end, Tyrone where unlucky almost scored a goal at the death. Ref was poor and contributed to the scrappiness, but the amount of sledging going on was infantile and silly. A very good game overall, not much wrong with the football.

Well done to Donegal, think they were better than the 3 point margin suggested but credit to Tyrone they kept themselves in touch. It was a very good first half but the second was quite poor and the stupid, petty shoving is hard on the eye, also what was Gallagher and Cavanagh playing at, 2 silly red cards, their managers can't be happy with that.

Yeah I'd agree 'doublehop'. Very cynical play.
Intriguing match, but very disappointed with goading and mouthing at players from opponents.
Donegal get away with a lot of dirty of the ball play.
All said, best of luck to Donegal. Probably just about deserved it.
