Funny that all provinces bar Leinster tend to support their own! Whats that about?? sportsfan14 (USA) - Posts: 281 - 05/05/2015 16:12:42 1720509 Link 0 |
In hurling I would not mind to see Dublin or Limerick win the All ireland. woops (Kerry) - Posts: 2073 - 05/05/2015 16:17:27 1720511 Link 0 |
Well as a Meath man living in Westmeath , id hate to see them doing anything, not cause of their players, one or two of the lads i coached at underage level so personally id be delighted for them, but the bloody neighbors /friends i wouldn't be able to go for a mineral for a year:). royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 05/05/2015 16:17:41 1720512 Link 0 |
No one outside of Meath. Might side with the under dogs that's about it. Too many memories in the 90s of lads from Westmeath, Louth, Laois etc screaming their heads of for Dublin back when we were putting it up to them. slayer (Limerick) - Posts: 6480 - 05/05/2015 16:18:30 1720513 Link 0 |
used to always like Donegal great footballers who could be brilliant or blow up completely. Not a fan anymore as both the brilliance and tendency to self destruct are both gone. Currently am a big fan of how Dublin play there football, they are a pleasure to watch. tirawleybaron (Mayo) - Posts: 1109 - 05/05/2015 16:26:36 1720518 Link 0 |

Slayer as a Meath man i want to thank you for that post, i guess been in Meath at that time and talking to people since, it is always nice to get a neutral opinion that is the same as your own. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 05/05/2015 18:14:17 1720577 Link 0 |
Ive no problem with Meath.Once they dont beat us id like to see them do well.Id like to see Roscommon do well for a change.I like this Monaghan side also.In hurling, outside of ourselves,i would like to see Tipp win the All Ireland. No county, has had such heartache in finals in recent years. So many 1 score losses and even a last second HAWKEYE decision went against them. cuederocket (Dublin) - Posts: 5084 - 05/05/2015 18:15:38 1720578 Link 0 |

Ye cheers for that post slayer, it is refreshing to see a positive view of our 80s and 90s teams from a neutral supporter because I think the criticism of those teams went into overdrive. Now I know they were no angels and being perfectly honest I didn't really mind the criticism (I thought it gave us an advantage) but looking back on it now, it was a bit over the top. I'd like to Cavan from Ulster - Limeeick or Tipp from Munstwr and from Leinster Louth or Kildare Elvis1935 (Mayo) - Posts: 46 - 05/05/2015 19:12:54 1720599 Link 0 |
Tipp for the football and Antrim in hurling, although once we're out usually any Ulster county bar Tyrone or Armagh. OgraAnDun (Down) - Posts: 406 - 05/05/2015 21:54:49 1720668 Link 0 |

The Deise in the hurling. Have a soft spot for Waterford hurling. Also in the running The Dubs and Galway. cavan97 (Cavan) - Posts: 369 - 06/05/2015 13:14:57 1720839 Link 0 |
