I dont think the Kerry team last year was very that old. Marc O'Se, Mahony, and D. Walsh were over thirty. Maybe D. Sullivan also. Enright, O'Donoghue, Murphy, Kilkenny, Lyne, Sherwood, P.Geaney, M.Geaney, Buckley are under twenty five. Moran, Maher, and Young well under thirty. P. Galvin is seen as a late replacement in games if he reaches county fitness. Gaa Fan (USA) - Posts: 749 - 28/04/2015 20:13:16 1718695 Link 0 |

We should be first up to give them a rattle and if we do have a fully fit team coming off a game two weeks earlier its one in thurles ill be eagerly anticipating, Think we can win but dont think we will win, another year or two though along our development and i feel we will eventually get the better of cork or kerry or both, heres hoping anyway tipp11 (Tipperary) - Posts: 353 - 28/04/2015 21:35:14 1718754 Link 0 |
Marc O Se ,O Mahony, Sullivans, Sheehan, Donaghy, Gooch, Galvin ,Walsh, Dads Army are going for two in a row if this happens shame on Dublin Mayo Donegal Monaghan Tyrone Cork it would be shocking for a team with that age and mileage to beat us lads. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 28/04/2015 21:46:14 1718759 Link 0 |
Kerry Dads army will have to beat a young Dublin team, in No 1 Cluxton 33, No 6 Brennan 30, no 8 Bastick 34 No 9 MDMA 29 , No 10 Flynn 29 No 11 a Brogan 31 No 13 NB Brogan 30, also Connoly No 12, Mcmanamon no 14, McMahon No 2 all 28 hardly a young team.Thats 10 of the team over 28. kerryrowz (Kerry) - Posts: 833 - 29/04/2015 12:43:20 1718874 Link 0 |
The only thing I am interested in at the moment is how close Tipp are to Kerry. woops (Kerry) - Posts: 2073 - 29/04/2015 13:20:29 1718903 Link 0 |
Kerryrowz - Kerry are All-Ireland champions and should be favourites to win the All-Ireland this year but dont be placing hope on beating fainleog (Limerick) - Posts: 598 - 29/04/2015 14:08:58 1718926 Link 0 |
Yes it would be fantastic to see Tipperary take the scalp of Kerry. Who knows what would have happened to Limerick football in 2004 (?) had it not been for shovel-hands Dara O'Sé. By all accounts football is beginning to get a strong foothold in Tipp and a Munster title win could really shake things up down there! Within Munster the focus has to be on where is the threat going to come from other counties. Tipperary are the obvious choice. There's a bit of momentum building up in Clare as well. The problem for Clare is that Limerick could knock the wind out of their sails. It wouldn't entirely surprise me for an upset to happen in the next 2-3 years. The first question is, are counties giving themselves a chance of causing an upset. In the case of Tipperary and Clare, in fairness they are making a decent fist of making a challenge. Tipperary as I said recently look likely to be stronger that the Limerick team that went close. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7865 - 29/04/2015 22:02:23 1719107 Link 0 |
i think it would be fair to say that only for cormac o reilly last year we would be talking about kerry as an average to good team.they also had luck in the final with the misplaced kick out...hard see past dublin.i think gavin has adapted every tactical scenario into the game plan during the league..tightened up the back line etc.only possible weakness in dubs is mid field.and with cluxons kickouts its not as important as it might be... kavvie (Clare) - Posts: 505 - 30/04/2015 11:04:06 1719141 Link 0 |

Cavanman Dublin '13 were lucky how? We won the league we then bet Kildare Meath Cork Kerry And Mayo to win Sam if ever a team deserved to win Sam without luck it was Dublin '13 by far the best that year. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 30/04/2015 13:20:36 1719193 Link 0 |
All ireland champions, gooch and Walsh back in the panel, darran o sullivan and sheehan fit again, young fellas with more experience and confidence, it's going to be a walkover! as_ky (Kerry) - Posts: 535 - 30/04/2015 13:27:18 1719201 Link 0 |
ok woops.you seem to be suffering from a memory lapse!! shane enright should have been sent off?yes or no? kerry down to 14 men.instead he was replaced bty marc o se who again showed why hes one of the best corner backs orf all time.would kerry have won with 14? very much doubt it.so the referee was instrumental in kerry winning that match.also the 2 points from soft frees in extra time were a lot more valuable than say at the start of the match due to fatigue etc.. kavvie (Clare) - Posts: 505 - 30/04/2015 13:42:04 1719205 Link 0 |
