Let's all bow down to the mighty rossies.
You play you matches we will Play ours. Meath have one problem at the moment but if that can be overcame. I would see us as better than any division two teams of this years.

Meath beat Down today in a challenge match now nothing and i repeat nothing should be read into challenge games, but graham biggy Reilly scored 2-6 from play. That's impressive in any game v

Impressive display from Reilly. Although I remember hearing Colm McFadden has a cracking high scoring performance in Donegal's challenge match win over Galway down in Galway a few months back, and he has failed to reproduce that form during their National League campaign.

Challenge matches are good training, but tend to lack Intensity and teams generally play very loosely.

Royaldunne Meath are lucky to be in Leinster no other province would the be the second or even third best team. The Dubs are a excellent team but its rubbish to say that the would walk the other provinces when the have been beaten in the all ireland series by teams from the other provinces. Dublin strength has nothing to do with the other Leinster teams struggling in the league and qualifiers. I think you get mixed up between Kerry and Meath when you talk about tradition.

Tipp are going to have their U21s joining their team as will Tyrone. this is going to make a change to these 2 teams. both will be around in August.

Ros the only Connaught team to beat Meath in a half a century is Galway, they have tradition unlike the rest of the west.

You read a lot into the league RD I guarantee we are a far better team than that day and still won handy 5 Up Against Wind With 5 To Play
I only seen ye once this year to be Fair But From Match Reports Scoring Is Yer Biggest Problem Did Ye Not Kick It Away Against Laois And Ye Were Supposed To Be Cat Against Cavan
But there only league matches ild genuinely expect a 30 to 40 % improvement on our league games or we are at nothing.
And ye would have to be the same.

On a side note we had 7 changes in the final to the meath match and ild expect something similar for championship to the final team.
Yer Biggest concern seems ye only have the core 17 or 18 I can honestly say we have not that problem.

---------

Our Points difference was double yours at the end of the league and we had the same amount of points? Yet we're useless you're the next best thing?

I suppose we did throw it away against Laois & Roscommon can count themselves lucky as a result. But sure every minority deserves their day in the sun so enjoy it I just hope yous haven't fallen into a false sense of security

Gerrymc, yeah nothing should be read into challenge games, but one guy scoring that amount from play is impressive, that been said he will need to do something similar in Leinster final if we to have a chance.

RD is you are judging teams but league and challenge games this season then surley you are saying derry are better than meath being 3 places above you, Ross are better being 1 above and even though down are 2 above you you are better than them because of a challenge game ha ha. love to see meath in ulster some year. show you how real men play ;)

Uncle_Fester the only one getting carried away and making daft claims is your fellow county man Royaldunne and I don't think you understand what the word minority means. Rd sure didn't we beat yee a few months ago in the league lol. I believe yee have never played Sligo in the champ, played Leitrim once which went to extra time, lost to both Galway and Mayo so I don't know what your point is. Sure weren't Sean Boylan and Colm O'Rourke originally from Leitrim.

A lot of debate over Roscommon and Meath and who is better. Paddy Powers all ireland odds only has ye at 10th and 11th. I'd question having Galway at 6th (considering they will have to beat Mayo, Roscommon, Meath and Dublin just to get to the final by the front door) and Armagh at joint 7th (have to beat Donegal, Down, Monaghan, Cork and Kerry to see a final by the front door).

Its no wonder Dublin (Offaly, Kildare, Meath, Roscommon, Mayo to get to final) and Kerry (Tipperary, Cork, Monaghan, Donegal to get to final) are the favorites

Dublin 6/4
Kerry 11/4
Mayo 8/1
Donegal 10/1
Cork 12/1
Galway 20/1
Monaghan 25/1
Armagh 25/1
Tyrone 25/1
Roscommon 40/1
Meath 40/1
Derry 50/1

Donegal at 10/1 the best value there.
Why bother arguing about who's best outside the top 6, or even the top 4?
Sam is between Kerry, Dublin, Donegal and maybe Cork have an outside chance, no one else has a hope to be honest.
Roscommon and Meath arguing over who's best? Two bald men and a comb comes to mind.
