What about when you played Donegal, Meath, Kerry then... very similar to those counties

What was the reason for that

How come Meath have won lots more titles than Mayo since 1952 or whatever it is... back when they were wearing caps and smoking during a match

How come Donegal have won just as many titles?

Is it 7 finals in a row that Mayo have lost...? You only played Dublin in one of them...

Face the fact man... you're a GAA laughing stock and it's got to stage where Mayo losing finals is becoming well... a little awkward... and down right embarrassing.

About 32k people in Leitrim. About 140k living in Mayo. Mayo significantly bigger everything than Leitrim.

I'm no statistician......

But the figures suggest Mayo are a goliath compared to Leitrim.

TheMaster, what are Mayo doing to address this gap? Use some of your power to give us an answer there will ya ;-)

It wasn't long ago that there was Dublin region posters on here lookin for provincial status for the Dublin Region, at the time I tought it was strange but now I think it might be the right move for fairness sake. The GAA should split Dublin in 4 and add in New York and London to make up the province , Dublin Region have 24 allireland titles (even though most of those titles were won before 1900 ) they should be aloud to split them equally between the 4 new Dublin region teams that would give them 6 each, you could have dub reg north south east and west and each region would have about 400,000 people in it.
So what ye think lads? Now I'm not taking credit for this idea as I say it was this forum I saw it a year or 2 ago.

Lol @ Damo, I'm trying to picture The Master, and I keep seeing this Dr. Evil type figure in a dungeon standing over a hot cauldron concocting magic snipes at Dublin, and saying "Damn, foiled again" as he watches another AI slip through his fingers :D
