On current form i'd fancy Cork for the division one decider.

Interesting quote from Barney Rock ahead of Sunday's league final:
"Cork beat Dublin (0-12 to 1-7) in a League final in 1999 down in Cork so these two teams always seem to play good football... They always want to do that and they tend to be very good matches."
Would such a score line today be as celebrated? If defences and systems are de rigueur then skills and scoring ability must also have improved as the scoreline will undoubtedly exceed this. Watching the '99 final back with an open mind will alarm many, we tend to look back with rose tinted specs...the level of mistakes and misplaced passes would not be tolerated. They were the best of their times and we enjoyed it then but the skills and athleticism on Sunday will be much better

that 99 final was a woeful game the weather was dire too but the football was very poor that day also know dublin had one or two players availing of the half time break for more than a sip of water that day which certainly wasnt nice to see

You're kidding you seen that? Times have changed...the game and the skills will be much better.
Odd Barney chose that game, his quote is inherently contradictory.
Based on what I seen this year Cork impressed me immensely and would be my favourites the AI. They kicked points through little gaps and from distance. Dublin will be stronger and a different team if MDM is fit

ah tim I was just beggining to like you and then you went and blew it mdma has been fit for the last 18 months and what has he done? hes been out of form completly what is it with people this guy comes out smelling of roses no matter how little he does he needs to get back to his 2013 form or else he wont be in the team this year as if he doesnt be a bundle of energy and up and down the pitch hes pointless being on the pitch as his football skills are shocking for somebody at that level

__________
Have to agree I'm afraid
Cork are a very impressive outfit
Considering the amount of new players Dublin have blooded, given the chance to perform, players playing in different positions, complete over haul of tactics, different forms of such in each game, players being injured only coming back, well below their high standards
Dublin have done very well to reach another final and put themselves in a position of winning 3 in a row
I don't think it was in anyway part of Jim Gavin's ambitions at the start of the year... especially with the experimental lineups/ tactics deployed throughout the league...

Yes, '99 League Final = worse final ever
No atmosphere, terrible weather and poor football!

for all that cork have impressed and dublin have been in a said "process" of running the panel the match in pairc ui rinn was dublins for the taking they had got on top of cork and looked ready to win it and went two points clear before gavin decided he had seen enough and took off 4 of our best performers that day and threw in four really inexperienced guys all at once if he had of left things the way they were at that stage id say we would have won by 4 or 5 points despite all that I thought cork looked far better against donegal in croke park than pairc ui rinn against dublin so maybe the bigger pitch suits there style more very hard to call this game without knowing what team gavin will play

Honestly I wouldnt be surprised by a 10+ win for Dublin.
Would be gobsmacked if Cork win this.

Jaysus Hill...what'll I do
I assumed he was injured because on form he's a force of nature. He's a big lump but gets up and down like a man half his size. You've watched him more so I'll take your word for it but Dublin's midfield with O'Sullivan and Bastick doesn't instil fear...Corks midfield is similar with Goold and Cadogan not natural midfielders. Alan O'Connor will help when integrated. Haven't seen the Dublin team yet ...like to see McHugh at some point...rate him highly

doubt mchugh will be involved this year has had plenty of games to give him a run at this stage and only played last 15 minutes against cork on the opening day o sullivan has not been in form either but bastick is a definate starter been along with mccafrey our best performer this year mccauley was badly exposed twice last year first half against cork in league semi final and the entire match against donegal in all ireland semi final our mdifeld last year was built around an all action packed getting up and back and working hard gavin seems to have changed that this year and gone for a more settled look with bastick and an other as we speak

1. Dublin by 1....very shaky without EOG and the other weakness this year is over relying on Rock for frees....no way for SAM
2. Roscommon by 3......a reflex to losing u21 last weekend
3. Armagh by 1...most overrated of the pretenders
4. Offaly....they have a little bit of tradition left as a tie breaker

Colm O'Neill is without doubt one of the games superstars. Given his comeback from a 3rd cruciate most neutrals love to see him back to his best. When he speaks you'd tend to give credence to him as well given his status but his honesty here is really refreshing given the pervasive hypocrisy among GAA counties these days.
"Donegal probably get hammered more than anyone for their style. They still get the brunt of it for some reason as the team that's the most defensive, but our semi-final against them was quite open.
"We'd be very disappointed as a team with the amount of scores we conceded. And Donegal might easily have got another 2-3. Look, I think every team is probably a bit more defensive this year.
"I mean there was a lot of attention on the Dublin-Derry game in this League, with the reaction to it afterwards on Twitter. I suspect that both teams just set up defensively. And who is to say Dublin aren't going to set up defensively against us now?
"After what happened them against Donegal last year, I think they realised they probably had to change. So that's something we're going to have to be prepared for.
"A lot of people seem to think it's going to be a very open, free-flowing game. But they might be surprised!"
