1715894 I think Donegalman has it spot on there, I wouldn't have Derry in top 11 and wouldn't have down in the top 20

Well If your team makes it to the Ulster Semi final, then maybe we can see for sure. But I have a feeling you will be taking the long scenic route again.

The new All Ireland Champions rarely have not faced the Previous All Ireland Champions for 6 years now.

2014 winner Kerry avoided 2013 Champions Dublin.
2013 winner Dublin avoided 2012 Champions Donegal.
2012 winner Donegal avoided 2011 Champions Dublin.
2011 winner Dublin avoided 2010 Champions Cork.
2010 winner Cork avoided 2009 Champions Kerry.
2009 winner Kerry avoided 2008 Champions Tyrone.
2008 winner Tyrone did beat 2007 Champions Kerry.

how did Cork manage to avoid Kerry in 2009 ?

Did I say Cork managed to avoid Kerry in 2009??

I stated how All Ireland winners have for the past few seasons always managed to avoid the previous years winners.
When Kerry won it in 2009, they avoided the 2008 winners Tyrone.
When Cork won it in 2010, they avoided the 2009 winners Kerry ( Down knocked Kerry out in the AI QF ).

love how down are the rank outsiders, we'll see come the summer lads

Why wouldn't we be rank outsiders? We have shown nothing in the last few years to suggest we should be otherwise. We finished top of a relatively mediocre division 2. Roscommon are an up and coming team, but they are not a top bracket team, or near that just yet. No doubting Down could beat anyone in Ireland ON THEIR DAY, but we are plagued by inconsistency, and this is why we won't challenge for any titles this year IMO.

If only Tyrone had hung around long enough in 06 or 09, we would have made minced meat of em ;)
