Happy with what your side are doing so far ??

Hmmmm. One of those starts, not happy nor am i unhappy, i feel we lost promotion by silly mistakes and very basic errors, that said the unearthing of McGill has shocked many, if someone had told anyone of us last year that a fully fit and firing Kevin Reilly wouldn't be seen as our automatic fb and would be used outfield id have said they were crazy. But now everyone would have McGill as nailed on no3. Also we have for first time in many a year have competition for midfield position, forward line is just not firing as i would have hoped, but hopeful and i suppose all taken into consideration happy enough, but until we reach (if we do ) a Leinster final we will not know has the gap been narrowed. Until then its unknown. But im hopeful.

Bit of a mixed bag so far, improvement in fitness and attitude, but the inability to take our chances from both open play and frees is a major concern. Injuries have started to clear up: so once more we can live in hope.

Happy enough with us in the league although our start was wobbly enough.

Positives
- we appear to have tightened up at the back
- we've shown some great spirit in tight games
- we've made another final
- we apper to be slowly forming a plan to break down heavy defences. Although I'm not 100% convinced yet and if you want to win Sam you will face at least one of these
- the imminent return of Alan
- the performances in Castlebar and Clones were top drawer

Negatives
- O'Gara's injury removes an element of attacking versatility
- Bernard's form
- Kilkenny's form. I think he has been poor enough on his return
- Midfield is still not cemented
- bad decisions on the line against Cork but it's 'only the league'
- no real stars have been unearthed so far IMO although Small looks like a player. I remain to be convinced on Fenton.

Overall, happy enough going into the Summer

Happy is not how Id describe were I think we are , as the alternative is unhappy or even Sad oh dear .
Id be satisfied , while some of my fellow supporters wanted to win the league I took a more long term view , panel big as it is has been on the go for a long time . Three things that were badly needed Rest , new Blood and performances .
I believe on the rest side of things we are spot on key players slowly coming back to form well rested , Vincents getting knocked out in semi final helping no end ,
New blood , John Small , B Fenton , Culligan and the under 21s still firing which has possibly hampered Lowndes and McHugh .
Finally performances , well patchy , very The Good the Bad and the Ugly . I don't think regardless of stats and goals conceded etc that we are comfortable with style just yet , but theres a long way to go .
Word of caution yet again we have not found viable alternative to Cluxton ,

Not sure if we've improved or not. The league raised more questions than answers. Inconsistency and shooting still haunting us although we've found at least one new hurler who'll do the business.fairly indifferent league but we're in the mix for promotion on the last day. I'm relatively confident that providing a few variables go our way we'll have another good summer.

Football

It's going to be a long road.. . .

No but hopefully that is a good thing. Usually a great league followed by a bad summer. Talk is we are building up for ulster this year and forgetting the league. Might just be an excuse......or may be true

A mention for the hurlers , delighted to be in a semi final , excited for the championship , as mentioned before on our day we can match anyone , only problem Liam McCarty success needs you to have a lot of on your day moments .

Ye I'd echo those sentiments royaldunne, not sure exactly how positive or negative to feel, certainly missing out in promotion again is very frustrating but on the positive side of things we have a few players back and a better squad overall. If we can get to the championship in June without any serious injuries, particularly to key players I'll feel a lot better.

By some distance Kildare's worst league performance since I started going to games 25 years ago. Other than that, no complaints...

KingdomBoy there's not just the caid!

Concerns re soft scores and number of frees conceded in football
Statistically odds against defending AI
Corcaigh have nothing to lose in Páirc Mhic Gearailt in July (if we get to the final!)- a dangerous prospect. 20 years since they won in Cill Áirne, they'll be wanting to amend that, especially after the capitulation in 2014
Over the moon re hurling (one of only three dual Roinn 1 counties!), we may get some hammerings next spring, but nevertheless looking forward to it
Christy Ring is next best step, hopefully we can get to the final and improve our unenviable record

Season objective met. Anything else is a bonus. Realistically speaking on current form its a big ask against Monaghan, we have to be at the top of our game. Then again against a neighbouring county anything can happen.

Football: Happy to a point, the league final will tell a lot more. We still have defensive issues and concede a lot of scores, however the movement, pace and score taking from our forwards is a real plus.

Hurling: See above.

Plenty of complaints. And moaning and sh1te talked about it.If supporteres get what they deserve, we deserve to be relegated every year.

From Armagh point of view, I believe Armagh are sitting ok with the way the league went, they have come over the 3D with very little hassle a

few scares here and there but overall not to bad, tho we do need to win the Final and not let Fermanagh get the upper hand. I think there is

a few problems, 1 being the goalkeeper I have seen Morison a few times wouldn't be the strongest option, I think Niall Geagon should be 1 or

the Young Annaghmore lad seen him in a few club games and isn't bad. we also need a man to score and to help Jamie Clarke out cause he has to

much to do. don't no how the Championship will work out for us.

No not 1 bit happy with 2015, our footballers have gone backwards and our hurlers are a joke altogether, it looks like a short county season, at least we'll get the club matches finished early
