Sam will be heading for either Dublin or Cork in 2015, wasn't champ pace but Cork showed how to beat the blanket defence,

riverboys,

If you think for one minute that Donegal had the full blanket out today then you need to get out a bit more.

That game will have zero relevance to the championship.

Some real shockingly soft frees in scoring positions being handed to Dublin; the Monaghan players and management are rightly fuming...same old.....same old. When in diffs the officials can be depended on to help Dublin out as usual.

Dublin 197 handpasses against 53 kick passes.

Disgraceful, end of the game as we know it...............

With 10 mins to go Dublin were behind and in the space of 30 seconds got two frees that weren't frees in easy scoring positions. This put them 1 up and that knocked the heart out of Monaghan for a good 5 mins. You could see the fury in the Monaghan officials and players faces. I mean what chance do other counties really have going to Croke Park now when Dublin are playing?

Ulsterman, no harm to you, but that is paranoid nonsense.

Cork's full forward line is very potent. Any half chance will be taken by Colm O' Neill, and Brian Hurley.
Cork looked good today and exposed weaknesses in Donegal's defence.
If we get 50/50 break in midfield, this team can go a long way

Colm O'Neill/Brian Hurley is the best inside forward pairing in the country. Our young lads the O'Driscolls ,Dorman stood up well today

Love watching Colm O'Neill in action, this could be his year, and Corks of course.

Some lovely scores in the Cork and Donegal match.

Donegal's movement in front of the Hill in the first 25mins or so was a joy to watch, McBrearty in particular, pity he doesn't play for his native county ;)

There's a difference between handy frees in your own defence and handy scoreable frees. Of course the ref threw a couple of handy points to Dublin today in the last quarter when they needed them most; few people are surprised by that! Some off the ball third man tackling by Dublin went 'un-noticed' by the whistler. Monaghan were quite good but no team with only one serious forward will do much damage later on in the year; though at least they have one quality forward which is more than Tyrone can say these days. At least a better game than Donegal v Cork; in that game, the cheap scores, lack of intensity and lack of defending made for a dull spectacle - up the field, score; down the field, score - it was like watching netball and you knew it had zero relevance to how either team would play in the c'ship.

Refreshing to see the game played as intended after some of the tripe served up by Dublin, Tyrone, Derry _ Mcfadden and Mcbrearty s scores things of beauty

Let's not forget that glorious game in Letterkenny a few weeks ago. Who were the two teams on that day? Just sayin!
