The pitch at The Turrett Cross in Meelin with its panaromic views gives a spectacular background while Tournafullas cosy pitch on the banks of the Allaghaun river is also worth a visit.

Not much scenic about Malin's pitch.. Trees, a field and a housing estate!

Most scenic in Donegal is Killybegs' new field at fintra looking out over Donegal Bay. Kilcar and St Michaels both great too

Markievicz Park in Sligo with the scenic backdrop of benbulben. You'd nearly quote Yeats there and then.

The most scenic pitch is the one that you're winning on.

I am open to objections here but, is the highest pitch in Ireland the one in Baileborough Co. Cavan. Any of the Cavan posters back me up here.

From memory of pitches I have played, Sligo's ground is nice as is Cushenduns and Kilcief. Loved the pitch and surroundings down in Collen in Louth when playing Mattock Rangers last year, probably one of my favourite. I have always loved playing in Donegal Town and Ballyshannon too. St Teresas in Belfast is a qware spot too, and I liked Glenrams in Antrim as well.

Yeah I've heard before that Baileborough is one of the highest towns in Ireland above sea level. So there might be something in that.

REDANDBLACK30 - Aye, I'm sure Longstone is just as good. Haven't played there before myself and was just using the others as examples. Kilcleif isn't bad either. Someone mentioned Ballygalget and while I can't remember the view I must say the surface was the finest I ever played on.

Offsiderule - do those figures represent height above sea level?
