lundy is class act but between waving imagery cards and diving took some of the gloss off his display but I suppose Corofin /Galway need to be more cynical.it worked today HughHunt24 (Cork) - Posts: 841 - 17/03/2015 17:26:14 1703799 Link 0 |
Well done Corofin and bad luck Slaughtneil. Disappointed to see a player who dives, play acts and tries to get opposition players carded getting man of the match all the same. Offside_Rule (Antrim) - Posts: 4058 - 17/03/2015 17:30:45 1703800 Link 0 |
Please don't blame ref. There was only one team ever going to win football today. Replay shows he was right not to award penalty early on . Second penalty was awarded to put respectability on score board and it was blazed wide. Miler (Mayo) - Posts: 1015 - 17/03/2015 17:36:59 1703805 Link 0 |
To all the Dublin and Derry posters that doubted my prediction well the proof was in the pudding today lads. Corofin won comfortably in 2nd gear and will be the team to beat again next year. Gaa_lover (USA) - Posts: 3347 - 17/03/2015 17:39:00 1703808 Link 0 |
farney........He lost a ball there and clutched his face as if he got a slap when there was no contact within 3 feet of his face. Miler (Mayo) - Posts: 1015 - 17/03/2015 17:40:27 1703810 Link 0 |
Congratulations to the 14 Corofin players who stared and the subs who came on but Lundy should be embarrassed. The diving, the rolling around on the ground holding his face was just awful. I've played against players like him before I just never understand the mentality behind it or why referees keep buying it. rcarragh (Dublin) - Posts: 305 - 17/03/2015 17:43:43 1703811 Link 0 |
Think you'd be disappointed if you were loosing supporter as neither side really looked like they showed up and were dominated all over the pitch. OK,the ref did make some mistakes but don't think it was the difference and better sides won. Dubh_linn (Dublin) - Posts: 2312 - 17/03/2015 17:44:46 1703812 Link 0 |
Congrats to Ballyhale and Corofin, two deserving winners. Just a pity for the neutrals that both games were over at half time. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11232 - 17/03/2015 17:47:13 1703814 Link 0 |
maybe gaalover is not Rossie but a sham? Either would help to explain his temperament and resentment of mayo Miler (Mayo) - Posts: 1015 - 17/03/2015 17:50:05 1703819 Link 0 |

Gaa_lover That is a crazy prediction, the club championships aren't as predictable as inter-county. There is a reason why its #thetoughest PoppinPoints (Meath) - Posts: 225 - 17/03/2015 18:01:01 1703825 Link 0 |

I think Lundy will regret his diving , he looked like Rivaldo of a few years back . That aside , he's a very good player . Anyone know what age he is ? TheRightStuff (Donegal) - Posts: 1688 - 17/03/2015 18:07:49 1703832 Link 0 |

Corofin were excellent all over their field, their tackling was top class, I feel Slaughtneil didn't perform to their best, they looked a little casual at times, I thought Coldrick had a good game, he let the game flow, and got most decisions spot on, didn't think it was a penalty at the start, Corofin defender got a clean hand in to knock the ball away, Sice was paticulalry good but Corofin had excellent players all around the park. Coldrick was poor, he didn't award a blatant penalty and black card while allowing some Corofin player to playact, fall about and wave imaginary cards to get fellas booked. We have witnessed waves of criticism directed at Tyrone for some stuff and wonder will we have the same scrutiny of Corofin? We all know we won't and once again we will see complete hypocrisy and double standards being applied. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9706 - 17/03/2015 20:23:29 1703890 Link 0 |
