Hoping for two good games today. I fancy Shamrocks and Corofin to do the business.
And could be wrong but I think Shefflin will call it a day with Kk after today.

Corofin looked like champions against Vincents and while I wouldn't write off Slaughtneil I think they'll just come up short.

Anyway ,best of luck to all teams and supporters and enjoy the day.

I agree with your forecast dubh, hard to see past them both. Some crowd there already. Great for everyone involved.

Too many wide killing Killmallock. Ballyhale much more efficient with the ball.

Yeah, flat enough looking game and Shamrocks look home and dry dry already.
Hope second game is a bit better.

Superb performance by Ballyhale. TJ Reid is a class act.

Bit easy for ballyhale in the end. Killmalock shooting was wasteful to say the least and they'll be the first to know it. Corofin kicking into gear now but plenty of time left.

Very bad refereeing performance by goldrick a blatant black card and a penalty missed in the first three minutes. Referees influencing games again

I completely disagree he has been excellent so far (apart from not giving a free for 2 bounces once) and the decision to not award the penaltyy was correct it was a brilliant dispossession by the Corofin defender.

Outstanding from Corofin so far, their skill level is top class and they have had a huge amount of clean dispossession's so far (which shows what bullsh1t it is whenever anyone says there isn't a tackle in Gaelic Football).they are mixing up the footpassing and handpassing nicely and are brilliant at winning breaking ball.Very hard to see how Slughtneil can get back into it.

In the 3rd minute the corofin blocked the slaughtneil player in a third man tackle obvious black card didn't even give a free. He didn't play the ball he played the man

Corofin full forward should be ashamed of himself for that piece of playacting. Reminicient of rivaldo v turkey in world cup..

Great performance so far by Corofin. Anybody else notice Michael Lundy's antics though, three times he has looked to get Derry lads in trouble... looking for cards. not nice to see from such a talented footballer.

Corofin are by far the better team. Lundy would drive you may watching him though. He's consistently faking fouls. He lost a ball there and clutched his face as if he got a slap when there was no contact within 3 feet of his face.

Awful performance by Goldrick - do referees not give Black Cards anymore ? Umpires must be allowed more responsibility , if Slaughneil had that penalty , it would have been a different game - shocking decision .
