Are the Dubs finished?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

yet again dubs struggled against the blanket defence. What will they be like when play Cork, kerry, mayo, donegal. Looking like a kerry/mayo final at this stage?

Yep

Couldn't handle it at all

I've been saying for months...

Even started a thread on it

It'll be a Kerry v Mayo final

You were well wrong about Meath winning Leinster in 2015 and you are more or less the same about the question you ask
As regards certain teams have better natural footballers, well every county produces some great footballers but not great teams Think back a few years ago --- M ford of Wexford and D Brown of tipp , those two guys would get on any team
Dublin still have a massive chance of winning and I definitely see them in the final , don't read too much into Sundys game.
I will have a go at forecasting --- Dublin to beat whoever they meet in the q final with the possible opposition being Cork/ Kerry. And Kerry must know by now that the Q finals are a dodgy place for defending champions
Now if they were to meet Mayo in the Semi it's a game that could go either way Again it would depend a lot on how Mayo would play ( they have been very good in some Q/F S/F over the last few years but I have an inkling Dublin would win But I do think Mayo would give the a right tough game
Then you would have eitherUlster champs or Munster champs orwhoever comes out of that group in the final
It could well be a Dublin / Donegal final and I'd be happy enough to meet the again , win loose or draw

Yeah, the Dubs are finished....

Cunningham has done alright for year 1 replacing Dalo but some key players are pushing on and they're in a bit of transition. Waterford will beat them.

Good point, what will the Dubs be like if they meet Cork? My guess is they will hammer them.

Will this be considered a soft all ireland for kerry when we take the dubs out in quarter final when their hit with suspensions?

No, the Dubs destruction derby is only half way there. 3 more teams to be humiliated yet.

No but it will be considered the most remarkable AI victory of all time when the Dubs B team lists Sam in September.

Your knowledge and predictions in Gaa seem very good, so i guess we will have to bow to your superior analysis of what is to come.

The Connolly suspension looks like final nail in the coffin

I expect the dubs look to run out and Kerry to win easily. Have the more natural footballers and can grind a result. The dubs are flakey

We all know how your predictions tend to pan out HughHunt24. Kerry v Donegal final, Connolly's suspension being the final nail in the coffin. Let's see how accurate this one is!
