I dont agree with Derry being Blackburn or Japan.

I hate to say it but we are like England.......great and successful clubs, quality indivdual players but only one national success at senior level and a hard time given by the local an 'international' press!

Kerry are obviously always Brazil, but I think one of the posters above is right considering the way Brazil have gone we are probably more like Germany.

Up until 2008 Mayo were a dead cert for Spain, loads of talent but always bottled it up till then, of course Spain have gone on to greater things now.

Dublin would always have traditionally been England, over hyped, over supported and no end product, but again in fairness to the Dub's they have landed the major prize in the last few years.

Galway = Argentina, a great tradition but slim pickings over the last twenty years.

Tyrone = Spain (post 2008), a great period of dominance but will probably never reach those heights again.

Cork = North Korea; a people's republic consumed with mass delusion and insecurity over its more successful southern rival!!!!
