Leitrim bet all ireland champions Galway last year.

They have a lot of youth in there senior team with a lot of u21's.

It be tough draw for them going over to mayo wednesday night with o'connor and o'shea, tj byrne.

But i say Leitrim could cause shock but i dont know this year.

I have a feeling Mayo are a very competitive and strong team since there last success which was 2006 against cork,.

Mayo have to seem more hunger and drive to win against leitrim and then face galway.

Roscommon once again my home county not playing till wednesday week have the easier side of the draw , if they dont win against sligo it be a big shock more then leirim beating mayo in castlebar.

But i know sligo gaa development at underage doesnt really shine through underage into minor and u21's and then into seniors.

I say it be a roscommmon v mayo u21 final

I assume this is Diarmuid O'Connor yes ? , Just wondering what O'Shea is this ? related to Aidan and Seamus ?
Best of luck in the season , wouldn't be surprised to see Roscommon go far

Hard to see past Dublin for this title but Laois showed last week when you take the game to them they can leave openings at the back and but for Laois's 4 wides in a row on the 40minute mark when they were a point up this could have been a different story.

Dublin have some players on the bench and are in supreme condition they were alot fitter than Laois in the last 5-8 minutes which they tagged on 1-6 to flatter the scoreline a little

I'd be putting big money on them to win it !

Leitrim only bet Galway last year because they were poorly prepared and injury hit.

In contrast Mayo are fine tuned and injury free they will comfortable beat leitrim a semi final against Galway will be closer contest.

more like Galway didnt have the stomach for the battle which has been the story of Galway football for last 14 years

HughHunt24 Galway were well up for the battle in the 2013 U21 Ireland final and Galway also beat cork on route to winning the 2011 All Ireland.

Longford to beat dublin on wednesday night good start to the championship last year and could spring a surprise up in navan serious competition for places on the team with alot of young talent in the county at this grade and dublin might over look them as possible contenders

Hard to see history repeating itself though i'd still expect Longford to give Dublin a good game the other semi final Kildare should win against average Meath outfit. In Munster i'd fancy Kerry to beat Cork.

A injury ravaged Meath u21 team i doubt will cope with a full strength Kildare, but that all been said i hope for a good show from the lads

Will the Meath U21 players on the senior team be available for selection tomorrow night?

Id say so lillywhite1 but its alot to ask, 5 senior games and 2 u21 in 5 weeks is too much for anyone, something has got to give. And maybe mod might have a eye on Sunday and may not want to release them, but i don't think he will have a choice.

In munster:

I say it be a tough contest of kerry v cork even tough cork were very unlucky last year with that foul that happened in the last year all ireland semi final and i think kerry have 5 members of last year all ireland winners on there panel and were unlucky in the u21 hasting cup first round against us and frew but I see cork winning this by 4 points.

Even tough clare had a great convincing win last week but I see Tipperary winning this as they have been knocking on the back door for a long time since they won there all ireland minor in 2011 , I see tipperary winning this game.

In Ulster:

I say Tyrone , Armagh and Derry to win by compressive winners :)

But the draw i am im interested in seeing who wins this Donegal v Cavan,

After Donegal great success of reaching the All ireland Last year final were just unlucky against kerry , and cavan are going for 5 in a row this year, but donegal have many up coming talents i say with there minors last year and the mchugh's.

But i have feeling this game it will be a draw , if not i say donegal will win by 3 points.

In Leinster:

I say Kildare will win against Meath by 3 points,

But I am interested in seeing how Longford v do against Dublin All ireland Champions.

I remember Longford beating Dublin all ireland champions on the 6th of march in 2013,

But i wonder will Longford shock Dublin again this year me i would love longford winning but i see dublin getting stronger ever year

Connacht:

I see sligo u21 are always strong but i dont get how because when it doesn't really show in underage which i dont get.

Roscommon u21's are getting better and stronger every year with great minors coming from underage into u21 and you can see this youth coming into senior.

I know roscommon might have a few issues and corcoran hasn't played in any of league , hopefully he will get playing a good talent which i dont get how he hasn't been called upto seniors,., they are many good u21's who haven't been called upto seniors which is in unfortunate,

But I think my own Roscommon will this comprehensively when were playing at it home :) against sligo :) if roscommon don't win this be a big shock in connacht when reigning champions , but i see roscommon winning this like :)

Full strength? have a talk with your neighbours before making a comment like that. Stop making excuses and accept that this current Meath U21 side don't have the quality to win Leinster.

Great to hear Mr. Pundit has insider knowledge and talks to people in the know, us ordinary mere mortals will just have to step aside and wait for his posts to see have our counties any hope in hell of winning a match, maybe we should all just get off this thread and leave it to royaldunne and pundit, they seem to mutually admire each other, royald asks all the right questions and pundit all the right answers and winners, then we can all head to the bookies and watch paddy power shares go into freefall.
Roscommon for Connacht, Armagh for Ulster, Dubs for leinster, Kerry for munster and dubs for all-ire.

What a difference a week makes last week there was very few Roscommon people to be seen on here (in particular gaalover) but this week they out in force. God can you imagine if they ever won anything you could get out of the country, how do the mayo and Galway lads put up with you lot?

Is all the St Patricks day drinking getting to you Royaldunne? i am as much Roscommon as you are. Whatever week it is you Royaldunne will have deluded posts about Meath football a poster living in the past that thinks its still the mid 90s when Meath were worth talking about. Unfortunately all of us have to put up with your views that seem to be getting worse with each post.
