Tipp Dublin was a poor game of football. Fair play to Tipp, Dublin didn't do enough to win it.

Tipp got their tails up in the middle of the second half and got a run going.

Just read a Tipp poster talking about Dublin getting frees. We lost, didnt play well.....but are you serious? The ref gave Tipp the handiest frees EVER. Dublin players were getting fouled all game. Every time a Tipp boy was touched he got a free. Please tell me what the free was for at the final point? Bizarre reffing!

Only back from game, Well done Tipp better team won. You cleaned us out in midfield and that won it.
The line for us was very poor, Certain lads who were poor were left on too long. 4 or 5 lads played for us that was it, We were playing into a strong breeze in the second half and Lorcan kicking balls high into the middle was crazy.
But bottom line no complaints , if we had of snatched a win we wouldnt of deserved it.

I only saw the second match and what a cracker it was. 2 very good teams giving it their all. Id say Mickie Harte will be a happy man this evening as the talent waiting for the call up is great. well done to their manager and of course their coaches Peter Canavan and Brian Dooher and boy they had them well drilled. their points from play were great. would have to say theyd beat the seniors anyday.

Great result for Tyrone and there is no doubt there is some good talent in the county. How to make that final step into the senior team is the problem at the moment.

fair play to tipp
similiar story to the minor final with nearly same players
we looked in control then lost it during second half spell
i dont think its construed as a shock though
dublin were poor so far in leinster
just edging through in a couple of games
and tipp had knocked cork out already in the munster final
so I felt it was going to be a 50 50 game really

Standard post about tyrones cynical football there from the cork poster. Such rubbish. Terrific display from a team probably written off because of the position of the seniors at the minute. People are forgetting that this team got to an all ireland minor final.

I would expect to see a number of these lads drafted in now fellas have walked away from the seniors. Hope they go all the way and do it now.

We haven't gone away you know, roll on the 18th of Mays

Well done to Tyrone. We were second best all night and in every position and cant have any complaints about the result. We cant control the odds bookies come up with but 9/4 on on us was ridiculous and I am sure a great motivation to Tyrone ( also cant control what Cake tweets but thats another story !) . My head is still dizzy from the 'scurrying ants' performance of Tyrone. Very impressive on the break with criss cross patterns, diagonal runs, dummy runs and great skill in front of goal.
Our own lads gave us a great run, we are dissappointed as had great hopes for this bunch but thats sport. Essentially this grade is about development so we can take a lot from the year.

Watching the Tyrone v Donegal Ulster U21 final, It struck me how I recognised a few of the Donegal lads that had played for the Senior Donegal team last year and this year such as Ryan McHugh, Darrach O'Connor and Hugh McFadden. And last season Paddy McBrearty and Martin O'Reilly were key talent in that Donegal U21 side, year before that Odhran MacNiallais etc.

The point is, Donegal are bringing 2 or 3 U21 players through each year into the senior setup and giving them a proper run out and slowly Integrating them. They may not have won Ulster U21 titles in the past 3 or 4 years, but they are successfully harvesting talent and blending that talent in at senior level. And senior level is what really counts, as the is the end goal for most counties competing at U21 level.

Tyrone need to make blending at least 2 fresh U21 players into the senior panel a priority every single year! No exceptions, give them 2 seasons and then cut them if they can't make the jump.

Tipperary are making great strides. Clare have been on an upward curve as well.

What have Tipp actually done at underage level to get them were they are today? At least in terms of reaching an under 21 All-Ireland final..

Congrats to both Tipp and Tyrone. Tipp have proved themselves by winning the minors 3 years ago. They will be hard beat. Tyrone looked very impressive 10 days ago in Derry. I wish them well and think the 2 best teams reached the u21 final this year.

This team won Munster Minor in 2012. They won the Minor All Ireland in 2011, Munster U21 in 2010, been making big strides for a few years. Meath should take notice.

Ourselves and Dublin can't be happy at how we performed, question marks especially on the line however and its no surprised that two most organised sides and those solid in defence have reached the final. Congrats to Tipp and Tyrone makes for close contested final.

What this weekends semi final showed the most is the fantastic talent coming through in all four counties and it will be interesting to see how many will become top seniors in the years ahead.

well done to tipperary winning against dublin yesterday. they really put it up against dublin , and are a very strong team :) :) :) i hope they go on and win against tyrone.

was at the match yesterday in sligo between roscommon v tyrone, shock-waves went around the whole pitch that dublin reigning all ireland champions were beaten.

roscommon match yesterday was very disappointing i coundt believe after a great campaign in the hasting cup and championship until yesterday it didnt seem they could keep up with the paste of tyrone. Enda smith and murtagh had a very poor game yesterday , but the ref wasnt fair at all to roscommon any time they get or do little tug he overturn it and give it to tyrone. we were cheated out of the game yesterday and the ref wasnt great and did not help, we were cheated out of it. disappointing but they should put there heads held high, back to back connacht titles and hastings cup. just a pity, thomas cororcan should been playing from the start in midfield.

i think daly, corcorcan, finn, kilronan, compton, smith and few others from the squad will be overage next year.

i hope roscommon achieve the all ireland some stage but this is great rossies team. but i say if roscommon lost against galway. galway would have lost yesterday i say,

but hope tipp go on and win it now
