Well, They dragged Cavan down to portlaoise to play Dublin in the semi-final last year, that was hardly half-way. they do what they
like.

Yeah but that was a double header. By the same token, they dragged Cork up to Portlaoise to play Roscommon the same day. Portloaise was more or less the centrepoint of the 4 counties that were involved!

do you roscommon men know your geography at all...tullamore is most certainly not half way between tyrone and roscommon...get your atlas out

Someone must think Donegal beat ye in the fixtures board cause it's fixed for markevic park 6 pm next Saturday week a real head scratcher.

7/1 or 13/2 is very long odds for a four horse race. Roscommon and Dublin as joint favourites is about right, if I was picking a winner now I'd go with Roscommon. It's really frustrating that we are missing so many players, even if we had John McGrath fit we'd have a much better chance. That said our half back line and midfield is very strong.

The semi-finals are on this Saturday afternoon, should be 2 good and very different games, both are on tg4, Dubs v Tipp throws in at 4pm followed by Tyrone v ros at 6, just hope the Rossies survive the battle, My own call for the games is Ros by 2pts and Dubs by 4, I am told that the lack of good subs will cost Tipp but may the best team win in both games, the u21 has thrown up some terrific matches in this years championship and lets hope Saturday is no different.

Hopefully are boys come through against the Premier.

In saying that I wouldn't begrudge Tipperary the victory.

i say both games be most interesting and entertain for both set fans. I say tipp will give dublin the all ireland champions a good rattle when tipperary won the minor all ireland championship a few years ago. i hope tipp win this but i say dub could edged it by 3points. this game will be very high scoring game .

roscommon v tyrone it will be interesting when it is in sligo. roscommon will be bringing alot of support i say when its only an hour's drive to sligo and this is talented and ambitious roscommon side that i have saw over the 3 years. i know a good few lads from the panel that are all near me and 2 lads from my club tulsk, and then the others from strokestown in my year and the year below and are doing well in college :) and my cousin on the panel.

but tyrone will bring alot of physical to the team and bring support. were just lucky to get over the line in ulster against donegal in the final.

but i see this game going into extra time which also be high scoring game and roscommon winning

Best of luck to Tyrone on Saturday. Massive challenge, but Tyrone perform well as the underdogs.

Hope the Premier boys pull off another shock but up against one of the greatest underage teams in the country. A team who is up for the battle and who on paper should probably win the All Ireland.

Tipp did amazing to win the Munster title against all the odd's losing 5 of your 6 starting forwards and having to personally recruit some players who never played football for Tipp at any level was some achievement.

Unfortunately the 5 forwards missing are all top class players and would probably come close to shocking the Dubs but we will probably come up short with the current crop of forwards.Just feel we lack that edge in that departments however our back line and midfield are capable of winning key battles.

However the element of surprise is always there and a lot of this team have won Munster U16 2 years in a row , Minor 2 years in a row so they know how to win and grind out a game. Many would have played in the AI winning minor team of 2011 against a highly fancied Dublin team.

Best of luck to both teams hope it will be a keenly contested close game.

Nice try , the element of surprise ha , no one in Dublin that Ive spoken to is taking Tipp lightly , everyone well aware of the quality in the side , if Tipp win it will be because they deserve it not because they caught us on the hop .
Too many defeats in U21 and minor over the years to take competitors lightly .
Of course Im looking for a Dubs win , in the event we lose hope you go all the way .

Roscommon are rightfully favourites on Saturday, Connacht sides tend to excel at this level and its been a while since a Tyrone U21 side have reached this stage, but the underdogs tag will undoubtedly suit them. Rossies to win by 4.

As for Tipp V Dubs, I'm putting my lot in with Tipp, the Dubs are bursting with talent but as football county Tipp continue to make big strides and this will be a natural progression for them, game of the day for sure and Tipp by 2.

Now that Tipperary are being so successful in Munster at Under 21 and at minor level is it not time for just Clare, Limerick and Waterford to play off for a semi-final place against: i) first out of the hat between Cork, Kerry and Tipp or ii) the latter trio play off with the winner earning the right to play the victorious team on the weaker side of the draw.
Hard to see Tipperary complaining as they were so long keen to keep Cork and Kerry on one side of the draw.

Very defensive match.. Dublin are letting tipp play all the football then just picking them off on the counter with mchugh getting the scores.. Can't see dublin beating either roscommon or Tyrone
