Ah lads, I have to agree with the Kerry boys here. It's a round 3 league game in all honesty, get a grip. How would you have been if you had gotten what we got in the AI semi final, ye would still be starting threads about it by the looks of things!
One thing that hasn't been mentioned is the dubs have gotten an example of what it can be like in games outside croke park. Maybe now they can appreciate more, why people get so bent out of shape about them playing at home all the time. You can get caught very easily.

that makes no sense at all
cheating is cheating no matter what time of year it is
nothing against kerry its the officals who are blatently one sided with what they choose to punish.
what does it matter where the game is?
you would swear its a new thing for dublin to play league games outside croke park
sure as I pointed out the same thing happened in croke park against donegal
the umpire refused to have gallagher sent off
is that not dishonest and cheating ?

Do you mean the incident when he caught the ball and then went into EOG's face with his head straight after which the camera's showed or is it something the camera's didn't pick up?

havent looked at any footage of the game so couldnt tell you what the cameras seen
but like I say near the end where he caught the ball won a free then went down to mouth at o gara thats when he did it.

Watch the '13 final again it was the most one sided referee performance ive ever seen, he completely ref it in Mayo's favour and we won the game so it's not sour grapes but I watch it every so often and the ref was shocking in Mayo's favour. I ask any netural to watch that game again without any bias or hatred and see how one sided it was, the free count was 32 to 12 in a one point game that's ridiclous.

I was surprised with gavin myself. I know a manager will look out for his team, but he can be a bit too biased sometimes, in a kind of a mother hen - my boys can do no wrong, kind of way. I don't think it is a positive thing. I recall after the AI final in 2013 he had a similar complaint, after just winning the all Ireland. Both games were intense affairs, Id argue there were as many calls mayo didn't get as dublin didnt, just like on this occasion there was plenty flying both directions. Sometimes you have to call it straight.

if managers dont come out and speak their mind and be honest
the officals will continue to be allowed perform diabolically as they have been for the last few years.
players get punished for their mistakes
its about time officals where pulled up to.
gavin was spot on in what he said after the all ireland in 2013
he said he was only saying it now so it wouldnt look like sour grapes had we lost and he was talking more about the whole year
than just that one match
and what always seems to get thrown at a team manager or player who speaks their honest opinion on matters
when they loose, nobody listens to the actual point being made.
nobody in killarney had a problem with the result
thats what you have to factor in here
its the unfair officating that was blatently obvious to all
its happening consistently now so what do you want gavin to do ignore it and let it continue
or try bring attention to the whole thing, just like creedon did with tipp

This just comes across as sour grapes Clondalkin, theres no point in trailing the history books to find games that went against us,Every county can do that, we were bet on Sunday end of story ,we had chances to win the game and didnt take them. Kerry definetly were cuter with there off the ball stuff and going to the ref,. Sh.t happens. Im glad we dont have a Donaghy and i think his carry on will come back and bite Kerry in a big game later on in the year. On the game itself . we were playing a decent Kerry team who were hell bent on not losing to Dublin again, weather was terrible and we had a weak enough team out . Kerry blitzed us with good point taking just before and after half time and that was where the game was lost for us.
Sunday is gone now and all that matters is this Saturday.
