again why can any team not enjoy winning a league match?
its almost like some people think you should be embarressed to enjoy winning anything other than the all ireland.

Mike, I don't doubt that Limerick are doing heavy training. So are other counties although with the change in county training routines this time of the year would be very late to be trying to get an edge in physical conditioning. And I have heard that about ourselves during league over last 4/5 years after losing games. "Oh, Daly has them lifting cars over their heads and running up mountains backwards. They did a marathon before the Tipp game." And then still getting their bottoms handed to them in the championship! Whereas, a good league for Dublin has almost always led to a reasonable Summer. All relative of course but then I have low expectations, relatively :-)

Hahahaha the famous "were training really hard right now that's why were not winning excuse" I love that one , every year without fail it's used after a team gets bet.

Just to let everyone know the reason our footballers lost to Cork was cause Jim Gavin had them lifting planes up in baldonnel and doing 50 laps of the Dublin mountains the night before the game.

Ah you see Hurling Dub that's where we differ. I have very high expectations. I expect us to win the All Ireland and then stroll through the Champions League lifting that trophy without breaking sweat!!
