Kilkenny v Dublin - Kilkenny- they were on good form last week and that means trouble for their opponents despite Dub's good performance
Tipperary v Galway - Galway have started well this year

Offaly v Wexford = Wexford
Antrim v Limerick = Limerick

NHL 1A Sat.
Cork v Clare Cork.
NHL 1B
Waterford v Laois Waterford. Tough one for Laois after losing to Offaly last week.

NHL 1A. Sunday.
Kilkenny v Dublin Kilkenny (narrowly)
Tipperary v Galway. Tipperary need to recover after loss to Dublin

NHL 1B
Offaly v Wexford Draw. If Offaly repeat last week's good form, they could take both points.

Kilkenny v Dublin - Dublin - More injuries for KK, surely they'll be beaten here.
Tipp v Galway - Tipp - Thurlas isn't a happy place for Galway.
Cork v Clare - Cork - expecting a huge backlash from Cork here.

Offaly v Wexford - Wexford - Hoping for a win but I think Wexford will shade it by a point or two.
Antrim v Limerick - Limerick - Expecting a cricket score here.
Waterford v Laois - Waterford - Laois are progressing well but Waterford 10+ would be my expectation here.

Faithful

I doubt Limerick or Waterford will have it all their own way this weekend. Ballycastle is not a nice place to visit and Laois will be rearing to go after ye upset them.

Absolutely agree. With a full team Cork were lucky to get out of Ballycastle last year.

If there's an upset I would expect it from Laois but I just can't see it. I was wrong about Cork last week but who knows. I just think Limerick need to be in 1A and this is the year they need to produce.

Ballycastle is a completely different pitch altogether from the wide open spaces of Casement or Croke.

I dont remember any team winning against antrim by a cricket score up there. I dont know what the handicap is but you'll get a run for your money if you have Antrim +5 or 6.

How did Offaly get on in ballycastle last year btw faithfull?

Clare are now looking to avoid relegation, their next game with Tipperary will be a cracker. Laois too, need to win their next game to avoid the drop. Interesting league games ahead.

Was switching between the two matches. They made Rennes v Bordeaux tempting it has to be said!

Big difference between the two games. Laois very disappointing. Hard to imagine why anyone including myself thought they might be a coming team. Hope I am wrong but they look set for at best a relegation play off.

Clare are on a really bad roll at the moment and need to turn it around quickly. They were fully deserving of their All Ireland but look bereft of ideas. Like a team that lacks a goal, which is a strange thing to say about a team with Davy at its head!

Big crowd in Cork- its just as well that the team really upped it this time. We didn't get too carried away with last week and probably should not get too carried away with this win either. I was really impressed Christopher Joyce (could be an option as the full back), Mark Ellis, Daniel Kearney, Harnedy and O'Farrel - effectively I think, down the centre was strong.

Aidan Walsh: He was certainly better last night than last week. He is a powerful athlete there is no doubt about it. The margins at senior level in terms of winning and losing a senior All-Ireland are fine and I still think he must improve a lot. I wait to be convinced he can. Some powerful runs last night but many mistakes. when I see Harnedy and Lehane running with the ball, I have a lot more confidence.

Damien Cahalane: no longer has the football excuse. He is not good enough in my own opinion. Was taken to the cleaners last night. Not too worried as when McDonnell and O'Neill come back, we are covered in this line of the field. JBM is very patient with him but I imagine it will soon run out.

Cormac Murphy continued to impress. A gem unearthed hopefully.
