Two very interesting games this weekend . I can see both games been dry tight .
Roscommon and Meath is interesting because both teams are very much on an even par . Meath are on the verge of turning a corner I believe . They have the nucleus of a team that can be effective competitively this summer against the big guns . Roscommon have to deliver now . They were lucky last weekend against a Kildare team low on confidence . Maybe there be hyped up a little too much . They brought a huge following to Portlaoise but yet the following week in Newbridge the support for them was a lot smaller . They have some good natural footballers plus they have had a couple of good underage and u21 teams but that guarantees nothing . (just ask Laois ). I fancy Meath to sneak this Sunday .
Galway and Laois are two teams i believe are similar in a lot of ways . Both possess talented footballers and often flatter to deceive . Galway don't do well enough when you consider there resources while Laois can never seem to get all the best players in the county playing at the one time . They seem to be getting there act together lately and fancy them to sneak this one up in Tuam . TOF I am sure won't be short of motivation !!

Leitrim should have too much for London in Division 4 on Sunday . It seems London have never moved on from there Connacht final appearance a few years ago . I do know a lot of work and money is going into redeveloping Ruislip but its a pity they never kicked out Football wise . They had a good thing going and some momentum in place that maybe could have been adapted better .

Could be a Leinster double over Connaught this weekend, i expect Meath will have too much up front with Eamon Wallace and graham Reilly, add menton to that and a improving Newman and the net will get rattled a few times, also bray is always good for a few points , Meath by 4.

Leinster double is a nice little price with the bookies..I think galway will have it all to do but can beat an improving Laois...Meath will beat Roscommon!

Cant see that happening . Meath have too many good forwards as do Laois who have adopted a more attacking approach under TOF . Both games will be close although Laois did give Galway a beating last year . Maybe Galway feel they owe them one !!!

Meath have not been scoring a lot, they have created a lot of chances in games, but in general are not taking them.Overall I'm not to happy with our forwards.

Read some of the rubbish ye are writing on sunday evening Meath good forwards 13pts last saturday night on an ideal night for football, all 3 connacht teams to win with a bit to spare.

Poolbeg we have just arrived in div 2 yet we have to deliver now? nonsense! we sold roughly the same amount of tickets for the Kildare,Laois game.

From viewing the games on live on TV the Meaths game plan is playing defensive, against Laois last Saturday 5 or 6 players were around each attacker same tactics were used against Kildare however unlike Laois they struggled to score from distance. Westmeath were also forced to shoot from distance against Meath and kicked 10 wides in the 1st half alone Meath then had a goal blitz.

The way Meath set up 13 or 14 points might be enough to win in Hyde park, we certainly won't have the room to kick 24 points this weekend that for sure.

If the Meath forwards convert half the chances they created in the past two games they should turn Roscommon over . I honestly think if the Bray and Newman click for 70 minutes they can cause serious damage on Sunday . It will be interesting to see will Shane Walsh get much game time on Sunday .
I also read somewhere a couple of lads are returning to the Laois panel this weekend however true that is .
