Shane Ryan was some player for sure but he was a workhorse and unfortunately workhorses never get the credit they deserve, look at donnacha Walsh for us.

bistro kid, have to say I agree with you. Meath have been awful this season in my opinion. A late rally against a second string Dublin outfit when the Dubs fell asleep was considered a good performance. Last time out against Kildare, Meath were clueless, I am convinced they wouldn't have gotten over the line if the game was in Newbridge. Without the Meath supporters I think they would have been found out for a lack of drive and determination.
