Give him a stiff enough dressing down and tell him that his actions could have cost Dublin the game
Then tell him that you want him to lead from the front next time out and redeem himself
We have a terrible record playing Cork on their own patch...
We need to be looking to change that.. and we'll have a better chance with a player of his caliber on the pitch
----- Well like I said above, he's lucky that we don't have the quality there to replace him. Are Carthy and O'Conghaile when on form better than MDM when he is not on form. Yes. If they are all on form then who is best? IMO, MDM is the best midfielder there. BUT you don't just keep playing an off-form player because you hope that he will come good, especially when he gets himself sent off. MDM was poor last year, has not been great in the little we have seen of him in OBC and he also nearly lost us a final on Sunday. He now has to fight for his starting place. Simple as that for me !
