Jamie played the first 20 minutes at half back. After about 2 minutes moved into full forward he set up a goal.

I wouldn't worry too much about positions. They brought a midfielder on at full forward and left a full forward in midfield and brought a full back on to play half forward. Time for experiments.

I was there, terrible game. If any tyrone man thinks they will get anywhere near an AI they are way off. Nowhere near the great tyrone team, hanging on to a few over weight golden oldies, one who came on late in the game especially. Too small and too many wides for both teams. Early days though.

Well in fairness Brolly, no Tyrone supporter has been on this board saying we are All Ireland material, and certainly no one I've spoken to either. I'm looking for a solid league campaign, not flirting with relegation, to take us into what's shaping up to be a very tough championship. If we are still in the mix by August I'll be delighted.

Brolly Big Joe probably looked heavy to you because of all the Ulster and All Ireland Medals he had hanging out of his back pocket :)

Armaghball - yes ur right he only played 20mins in the half back line, but 20mins to much Any1 with a brain can see we get the most of our scores of him or he sets them up, Half back is not the place for him it was 2-3 wen he went to full forward cost the first goal! yes the mc kenna cup is to see different things but a blind man knows u don't change ur best forward to half back!!!

Sorry tyrone men if my opinion offended but it's just an opinion, nothing personal. And brend, ultratyrone does seem to have high hopes, he also seems to have a select memory. Do you not remember 2014 lad??

Ha Ha Mr Brolly I always have high hopes for Tyrone.I had just stated that a few of the newer debutant players have show up well for Tyrone, I have watched enough Matches over the years to know winning matches in the McKenna Cup mean nothing come the Championship. Still its nice to have a final to look forward to even though its only the McKenna Cup.

I wouldnt pay much heed in the result of this game. Some decisions mg geeney made were as if he didnt want to win. Jamie clarke was in the back line for large portion of the first half. Armagh were struggling at times to break the tyrone packed defence and if you looked back down the field you seen clarke in the back line watching the forwards as it seeemed he was playing as sweeper lol. This wasnt the only players played out of position aswell. Armagh made it easy for tyorne to get going at the start by our goalie kicking kickouts to the man standing in front of him and them scoring a goal.

Also to the tyrone poster saying this was a near full strength armagh team. Armagh were missing dyas, andy mallon , james morgan, charlie vernon, stephen harold, caolan rafferty, aidan forker, ethan rafferty and our goalkeeper geoghan. All these players would be starters so get your facts right.

I think the match did tell help mcgeeney find out that some of the squad players armagh had out arent good enough.

Well, at the rate you pick up red cards and suspensions, they could all end up starting at some point this summer. But all 9 of those in your first 15? No, they won't be.

Anyway, division 3 will throw up some tough matches for you, and give McGeeney a chance to establish his pecking order. None of the games will be televised, so please do keep us posted on how things go... ;)

Fair enough lads. Have to say - wil be good craic this year with the bragging rights etc - Ulster really is wide open and a good tight standard - should lead to a few Ulster teams going far again!
