Gaillimh,for such a dominant team at the time,in the strongest province,is having a return of 1 All Ireland from 7 Ulster wins a satisfactory return?I dont think theres many saying their failures,more that 1 All Ireland was what they ultimately deserved.If they were good enough theyd have won another.It wasnt to be.

They won the amount that they deserved. See he mentioned that they should have beaten Meath in 99. He serious ?. My memory bof that game is Armagh got 2 early goals to give them an undeserved lead. Even though Meath only won by 4 they were far the better team. 0:15 to 2:05 scoreline makes it fairly obvious who was the better team. Comfortable win for Meath.

Word on the street is that mcgeeney in process of turning current team into a rugby league squad. Saw a pic of skinny midfielder findon recently.. He's now a monster. Don't think they have the forwards though!
