A promising player for Mayo, Evan Regan who some may remember scored a great point v Kerry in our first league game only to go over on his shoulder minutes later, broke his collarbone in training Tuesday night. He was only just back from injury. Id say that rules him our for this year as far as Mayo goes. Terrible blow for the Evan himself and Mayo as I feel is was a player who could have mad an impact for us this summer.

I think it's hard to look past Dublin with the quality that they have available. Hoping we can do well again and go close. Will be a tough road if that were to happen. If we get over Tyrone in the preliminary I'd give us a decent chance of another Ulster final appearance. Still think down south Kerry will be stronger than Cork come championship and Mayo to take Connaght although Roscommon may run them close again and could well even beat them.

Correct, this is a very hard road for us this year. I feel like we have achieved already by staying up, in such a tight competitive division 1 and with Gallagher's first year in charge. I also think that Donegal supporters should be realistic, and see that there is an almighty amount of games to be played this year, front or back door. It might even be a short summer, and I for one would not feel hard done by considering the amount of work this group of players have put in.

I would strongly fancy either dublin or kerry. they are the only 2 teams in the country that could field 2 teams. . Be under no illusion that either will come into croke park in august rusty, there is no shortage of sparing options in both camps for may and june.

What i would be afraid of is a dublin team that hammers all round them this year.

Big shout out for cork as well. I think they are overdue a big season especially in croke park.

think the teams to make the last eight will be; Cork, Dublin, Kerry, Donegal, Mayo Monaghan, Armagh, Tyrone.

It's hard to look past Dublin and Kerry for Sam, Cork have a good chance but need to have Kerry out of the champ if they are to win Sam, I'm tipping Dublin for the title

Legendx..I also wouldn't be surprised if tipp beat us in the semifinal in thurles , we're sitting ducks realy , it wouldn't worry me though as I think a run through the qualifiers would suit us this year, we'd have regular games up to the quarters, I'm not sure but I think if we get knocked out of Munster we fall in to the Leinster Connacht side of the draw so that would give us probably dubs in quarters and mayo in the semi and then cork in final. Handy enough run in fairness.

Yeah Legendx a run in the qualifiers wouldn't be the end of the world especially given our unbeaten record through the backdoor. Yeah easy enough run to the final if it works out like that but given that we are still in a period of transition its the best we can hope for as the dubs keep telling us they are unbeatable again this year.

renember last year
very few could see past Dublin
and look what happened
its very open this year
it will be very hard for Kerry to retain sam
they got some lucky breaks last year
that they wont get this year
a lot depends on what stage some of the big teams meet each other
