Hiney was right to retire. He'd never win anything with Dublin. Turndownforwhat (Galway) - Posts: 53 - 04/12/2014 12:35:54 1676563 Link 0 |
I could say the same about Joe Canning if you are referring to the senior All Ireland :-) hurlingdub (Dublin) - Posts: 6978 - 04/12/2014 12:44:52 1676571 Link 0 |

Not comparing like with what like? I doubt Joe Canning shares your sneering attitude to the other players I named! hurlingdub (Dublin) - Posts: 6978 - 04/12/2014 13:10:17 1676581 Link 0 |
best forward ive seen so far in my life time looking at hurling.ahead of dj and shefflin. joe canning has the potential to be as good and maybe better .but he hasnt yet. hes playing with a less than succesful team at the moment and his managers of recent times dont seem to know how to maximise his talent.but remember eoin played with a lot of average tipp teams and he often won games on his own..the pieces of sneering etc on here are pathetic. now my hope over the next 5 plus years is that joe will fulfill his undoubted talent and win a few all irelands for galway..over to you joe.. kavvie (Clare) - Posts: 505 - 04/12/2014 20:41:06 1676751 Link 0 |
i fear joe canning might never reach his full potential. but this is to no fault of his own - he is just unlucky to be in a poor galway team. im sure if he was from kilkenny, tipp or clare then he would be one of the greatest players ever. just so hard for him having to carry an average team who will probably never in his playing career be good enough to help him win an all ireland. hurlingexpert (Clare) - Posts: 1941 - 04/12/2014 21:07:33 1676757 Link 0 |

Has anyone else scored 10 scores or more from play in a major Cship match? Possibly but not too many tiobraid (Tipperary) - Posts: 4119 - 08/12/2014 18:12:48 1677462 Link 0 |
