Fantastic player , nothing he couldnt do , best Ive seen from the north for sheer talent since the mercurial Frank McGuigan , when average players with long careers retire the word great is thrown around far to easily , not in this case .
Delighted many are vouching for him off the pitch, our sport really does produce fellas that are class on and off the pitch .

Stephen O Neill was part of another All Ireland title that very few know about. aparently a group of kids from North Monaghan did a project on Stephens life concentrating on his sporting achievements for a Community games competition. The title for the project competition was " What makes you a sportstar "
They got great help from Stephen and they won their county final and went on to win their All Ireland title.
Stephen was delighted for them and their manager . he introduced them to his manager and teammates and they were highly impressed by his achievements.
there were 27 other teams in the All Ireland final .
