I think the teams don't really matter too much - its the occasion and the cause which should get people in attendance.

would make more sense to name the teams as it would encourage more people to go if they had strong teams playing
the fact that its live on tv will give plenty of awareness to the cause

I think the ulster panel will be big and probably roll on roll off subs. Not sure on that though.

Great cause but unfortunately wont be making the trip up.

Yeah of course it would be nice to know who you are going to see - what I meant was that the event itself should be good enough to encourage people to attend.

Great fun had by all. Decent crowd and plenty of Dubs came along too. I thought the boys in blue were gonna wipe the floor with Ulster but surprised and glad to see us win, what was, a competitive match. Superb stadium and a nice touch to see the Down footballers from 1991 at half time.

13-a-side and very successful by all accounts yet Jim Gavin has poo-pooed on the notion of making this happen at inter-county level, without actually giving any good reason for it. Traditionalists...

It was good to see GAA being played in a modern stadium with a roof on all 4 sides. Take note GAA stadium designers.

totally untrue
its the middle of winter of course you would like the roof
but gaa plays its major competition in summer
so therefore designs for roof on all parts of ground is not neccessary
best spot in ireland to get a tan is hill16 on a chmapionship sunday

Very high-scoring game though. Would love to see 13-a-side played out in Croker and Semple. Imagine what a real playmaker could do with that space.
