Gleebo. Would agree with you. Giles was the difference in that final. If he had not played in those games we would have lost handily

No way can you have MDMA in there ahead of the like of Walsh, Tohill, McGrane and Sean Cavanagh. He's a better athlete than these guys for sure but not a hope is he a better footballer than any of them.

Royaldunne John McDermott was harder than all of them players you've named the only harder Meath player than McDermott was Harnan.

Royaldunne- McDermott was hard. Not in Lyons or Harnan's league (not many were) but hard none the less. Fay , O'Rourke , McEntee or Hayes were no harder than McDermott.

Low Ball, Sean Cavanagh POTY 2008 and 5 time all star didnt even recieve an honerable mention. Philip Jordan (4 time all star) and the launch pad for Tyrone's attacking prowess in their all Ireland wins again no honerable mention lol. These men are starting 15 players along with Canavan.

I'd also suggest your inculsion of Ryan McMenemin is generous. He was an almighty player but not the best since 90's

In fairness to lowball he's not that far out. We'll always argue about a few names.

I'd probably pick the same set of forwards although Tompkins did win an AI in 1990 so I'd pick him ahead of Giles. I'd have Lacey in my team and Higgins too if non AI winners were included.

As for All stars I don't take that much notice of them, been a Dub or a Kerryman has huge advantages and its the same for Tyrone men in the Hsrte era. If Joyce was a Kerryman he'd have as many All stars as the Gooch and the same goes for a few others.

MDMA in there is laughable. Tohill and DOS certainties with Sean Cavanagh pushing close.

I actually forgot about Cavanagh but to be fair he won POY from his year at 14 or 11 from memory?

Martin O' Connell was on the team of the millenium at no 7 so he has to get picked. Philip Jordan was a good player but not in that class or that of Tomas O Se in my opinion.

This team is just my opinion from starting to go to and remember games c. 1987- would be interested to see others suggestions.

I picked Ryan Mc at no 4- couldn't think of any others that really stood out, I guess Tom O' Sullivan was handy and Tomas Mannion from my own county?
