Galway of course....Mayo v Galway is the big one in Connacht. Although I would admit the "edge" has been missing the past few years but I except that to change very soon as Galway get closer. Always night to beat the sheep steelers too.

Though the team I would love to beat most is Kerry....my first time in Croke Park was 1996 semi final v Kerry where we surprised everyone and beat Kerry. I have witnessed us play them since in 04,05,06,09,14 and failed to beat them. We may not be a big rival to Kerry and they wouldnt' think too much of us but for me Kerry are the biggest rival I would love to beat. Interesting our league record is quiet good v them just championship disaster.

Mayo v Galway always the big one. Galway are more successful in football than in Hurling so why would anyone dismiss Galway as Mayos main rivals just because they play a bit of hurling.

Always nice to beat Roscommon but its a more regular occurrence than beating Galway. We have dominated Galway for the past few years but that will end shortly and we will undoubtedly go through a barren spell again. It will always be Mayo v Galway with Roscommon as the sideshow.

Could depend on what part of the County supporters or players are from I'd say. Rossies and Galway would both be big rivals to Mayo

Is Mayo Galway an intense rivalry though? It seems to me that most Galway people like to see Mayo do well and vice versa as long as it's not at their own expense. Being from Kerry (and nowhere near the border) I'd rather see the devil win than cork.
